cold rain here today. Tomorrow morning is cold rain. Tomorrow afternoon will be decent, so I'll be working on the trailer and boat. Hoping to get a sail in on Sunday.

Can it be summer now?

The c2's are narrower? My jet 9 c2 is a pretty wide rim..[/QUOTE]

I don't have many wheels, and this last year I decided that I wanted to make an effort to primarily buy things I could use all the time.
Thus - I bought a DT/Record front wheel, a Jet6, & a PT/Kinlin... each of those are every-day riders with no worries at all. Relatedly, I now buy thomson stem/post & fsa alloy bars for every bike...
'Get it and forget it' sorts of purchases.

To me, that is one of the strong points of the Jet wheels - they are just fine for everyday use.

Wheel width - the Stingers are another few mm wide at the brake track.
IIRC, jets are 23mm wide, and the stingers are something like 26?

Hida, do you have powertap laced to the Jet6's? I also wonder if HED would do ptap retrofits as i know for a fact you can't do it on your own.

No, I had a local wheelbuilder lace my PT into a Kinlin 300.
Hed has done PTs in Jets before, but you have to ship it to them IIRC. In my mind that would make a heavy wheel married to a heavy hub... too heavy even for me.

It's funny. You spend on a race, what CDR spends on a training ride.

Philosoraptor strikes again.
Probably my all-time favorite of this meme.

I'll be over here in the corner, crying quietly.

How are races sanctioned over there?

And spring is around the corner here. Saw a robin the other day, and my cats each brought in a bird yesterday.
