That's what I was thinking. The guard rail on a lot of routes seem like nothing more than a false sense of security. At best they just take a rider's bike and flips the rider into the unknown.

I didn't do a 20' test today, but I hit a PR on my first 20' interval. Unfortunately, with the few pounds I've gained in the past two months I'm still only at 4.3w/kg.

kensuf, good stuff.

Unfortunately, with my complete and total lack of talent, I'll never be at 4.3.

It means we're out for blood.

Actually we just got them this year, they are our 'summer' jerseys - but since summer is like a week long here I wear the white one any time it's sunny/warm out.

That's pretty much where I am too. I don't see much of a way out unless I go on another diet that I know I won't maintain. I've been as high as 4.6, but my wife kicked me off that diet

We'll see if anything comes out of this Kevin Livingston/Pedal Hard training, I guess.

I bought 3 blazers yesterday.

One of them is hideously bright green. I love it. I'm trying to figure out how I can wear it to work.

Too bad I gave away the pink pants that were part of my halloween costume!

Winning the Masters might help with that.

Is that guy wearing stretchy pants?

If 4's are called 'Crash Fours', what is it called when a seasoned 3 cuts across your front wheel?

Is it inadvisable to wear anything but black or navy blue jackets/sportcoats with a black pair of pants?

I know this isn't the place for it, but I'm wearing black pants, a light blue oxford, and I was wonder if i could pair either the khaki or the gray jacket with it. If not, no biggie. I don't need a jacket.

And yes I have a tie. A coworker brought one in for me.

Khaki pants and blue oxford with a navy blazer is always appropriate. And it happens to be the semi-official uniform of male Old Blues.

Black pants will go with anything, but a navy blazer with black pants is questionable, as the navy may start to look like it's just a poorly matched black.

Worse, people will think you got dressed in the dark.
