Is there some form of doping that can make you descend better than everyone else? I was of the opinion that it was due to a combination of skill and balls.

Does the WADA prohibit balls?

Bikes: the hummer brand mountain bike

Talking about how much, uhh, power he is throwing around, every stage, and he's still going. Sprinting for stage wins, out climbing the climbers... also he's a former alleged doper...

Sad news from today is that Fabio Saccani, one of the motorcycle drivers, died on the way to today's stage in an accident.

Only exogenous ones.

Remember, they're still only half way through the race. I would not be surprised if Di Luca pays for all of these hard efforts in the second half.

Di Luca is playing it at his best, I think. These early "climb" stages are punchy finishes and he has to get as much time as possible going into the last week.

He can make up some serious time in stg 13 & 14 for what he loses in the TT after getting those seconds today - similar stages to what he has already won so far - and they're right behind a long flat stage and before a rest day.

They needed to keep him off the stage win today, IMO. They're all losing serious time just on his stage win time bonuses.

Guessing Rogers or Leipheimer need to be 4+ minutes up on the rest after the TT to have shots.

If Di Luca does indeed fade in the last week, post TT.... Menchov FTW?

Huh, just read that Di Luca is 5'6" 130lb, for some reason I thought he was a bit beefier like a sprinter.. I guess he can be a good climber then!

Have to admit I figured he was at least 20 lbs heavier. Damn these guys are all small.

Maybe it's because he's the GC leader/Italian homeboy getting all the face time?

If you just wandered into this w/o seeing the GC overall table you would think LA is actually ahead of Levi in the overall. LL is basically getting his name dropped into the commentary, now and then, along with Basso but, with very little camera time.

Mick Rogers? We see him more than 10 seconds a day? He's looking at a possible podium finish and is invisible as far as I can tell.

No its because Levi is the most boring bike racer I can think of. I just want him to do something! When was the last time you saw him make an effort like DiLuca did today?
