On further review:

Lost in all the Messiah blather is that 3 of the top ten GC contenders including the only guy who looks capable of attacking AC, the best sprinter not wearing the green jersey, and the other major sprint threat were White Jersey eligible. I'd say the kids were alright but it looks like Ricco will be back.

Nibali barely was mentioned but rode a very mature race and has improved every GT he's ridden, and he's made steady progress in the TT's. Chuck out the TTT and he slides past Kloden on GC.

As a friend pointed out Liquigas had a very good tour. With him, Basso, Pellizotti, and Kreuziger showing up to race next year, that's a team with some cards to play.
