Effectively a 4 goal lead at the half. Pretty good odds.

We have it on one of the conference rooms, but I'm watching it on my second monitor while trying to work at the same time.

Sunday's draw felt like a loss. Today 0-1 loss was a win.

A team that loses but does enough to advance? That's my kind of team! On to Cat 2! Er, Round 2!

i was doing my usual after work loop yesterday. there was a bike up ahead maybe 1km....looked to be a townie bike or beach cruiser. 5 minutes later i realized that the bike was still way out there. i had a mini-panic...had i lost that much fitness in the last two weeks? was my power meter broken? was that Dirk Himley up ahead on a beach cruiser? I'm not one to MUP race ever, but i needed some closure on this one. I V02maxed-it to the bike, turning myself inside out. It was dude on an e-bike.

Well I'm officially back starting today. My last training week was the last week of October and it was a 18.5hr week. Nothing more than 4 hours a week since. Completely off the bike since April. Goal is to finish a P12 race in the pack by the end of the season (late august/september races). Need to lose 20lb. Should be interesting.

It looks like they run it as an omnium, so you can do 1, 5, 8, 11, whatever. Jerseys for each cat for each race, $$ for each cat for each race, plus omnium prizes. Cool looking courses, too.

Toad essentially replaced Superweek, which has been around since before I started racing. It's a very prestigious series.

Welcome back Creatre.

Back at it like a crack addict. I am thinking of putting on a few pounds to race next year, but I avoid any and all hills so we might be different types of riders.

Yes, but I'm not gonna lug extra weight around for no reason. Plus it's sooooo much easier losing weight. Who cares if I look like a stick. I go up hills fast.

First ride could have gone better. Made it 5 minutes and my crank arm sheered off. Looks like the self extracting bolt in the arm decided to work it's way out. From research I think it should be an easy fix. Was a pain to walk home (live on top of a hill....) and then swap cranks. But ah, what is training without the journey. Never easy.
