6x3's at over 115%. i hit my target on all but the last one....114%. Fitness doesn't suck, but the trainer deffinitly zaps a lot of that anaerobic power.

Reasonably Slow...
First vo2 max intervals for the year last night. Did plus 30s @ 115%.
Got a little unpleasant at the end, but feeling pretty good this morning. Today is long ride.

2hr w/ 5x4min @ max. Winds were 30-40mph. Almost died like 10 times. I'm too light for wind and 50mm carbon wheels. Was awesome.

For those that still track such things, what TSB do you try & have going into a race? A vs B races?
Also, when/if you take rest weeks, do you keep same volume w/ less intensity or less volume w/ same intensity?
Thanks.

I have no idea how anyone can do hard interval workouts on the trainer while watching something new. At tempo or lower, sure, but once I'm over threshold I need to really concentrate on what I'm doing or I'll slack off. I'm quite jealous of you guys who can do it!

It's taken a little practice. I have Golden Cheetah on the laptop to show me a graph and my instant wattage/cadence/hr. I have my iPad with Netflix next to it. And the 5' intervals I've been doing are sub-LT. More SST.

Making a kilometer blurry
I just do base stuff on the trainer. Keeps it simple.

Did an FTP Test last night, it went great! Everything this year except for a week of sickness has been going perfectly, including breaking through a plateau I've been at for..ever. All of my training definitely paid off during the test. My last FTP was 247..with a 3.40 w/kg. My goal was to hit 280 watts avg. for the ride. With the training of this year mixed with better pacing this test and just everything falling into place + a bit of luck I ended up hitting 286 watts, giving me a new FTP of 272 and 3.68 w/kg !! I don't know how good this is to you guys (I'm sure jsut is laughing with his abnormally high 400(?) FTP..lol) but I'm pretty d**m happy with this!
1:45 tonight 4x10 @ FTP.. just what I wanted after a FTP test. It hurt, but whatever. I'm still happy, and hungry.

2.5 hours, was going to do a 20' interval but didn't pace it right so it became 2x10'.
First one was 302w (~4.3 w/kg, weak I know!), second one sucked.
-30 TSB, probably time to rest up. Luckily it's raining tomorrow so that should make it easy.
