Just because the frame is made of aluminum doesn't guarantee it is a lightweight. Been thru that. Plus a "step thru" frame is not as strong as a triangle frame. Boys vs. girls bike. So I don't want to upset you but I do think you can find much better bike. My first build was a full suspension Kent bike. Even with an all aluminum single speed build it still topped out over thirty pounds. It was aluminum and my daughter still rides it. But it is a pig. Next was a Cannondale mountain bike frame that cost similar to build and weighs 19 pounds. It is a joy to ride.
