Creaking BB
Hi I have a 2010 synapse with a FSA-K light crank and it has a creaking sound when I'm doing standing climbs BUT only when pushing down in right side (drive side) and it's driving me crazy.
I have pulled apart the crank cleaned it and greased the shaft, spline, and threads and torqued it to spec. Also re-torqued chain ring bolts and pedals.
The only I didn't do was remove the bearings in the BB (waiting on tool). BTW it's a BB30.
The sound is definitely coming from the BB area .
Anybody else have this problem and what did you do about it**********

you have a cool bike.
you did everything the shop guys tried to do and more to stop the creaking in my BB (not the same BB)...think it could be the outside of the BB, maybe use the tool in the mail to tighten? At least it's one more thing to try before disassembling the BB.
