Ribble R872 sizing
Hello everybody!
I have a question or two.
I am thinking of buying a Ribble R872 bike. Stuck on what frame, bars and stem size combo to pick. I am 6ft tall, my build is similar to Peter Sagans, not nearly as fast as him though
It would come with Deda RHM 01 Bars and Deda Zero 1 Stem.
I will be racing on it so it should be setup aggressively.
Thanks for any help!!! Love this forum ^_^

Your question is impossible to answer accurately without seeing you and doing some measurements. It's more than just overall height. Leg length (i.e. cycling inseam length), arm length. preferred riding position and style and flexibility all matter. If I HAD to guess, I recommend a "size 522" based mostly on top tube length but that may be way off for you. As to stem, bar and crank length, not a clue.
You really should visit an LBS with a decent fit kit and someone who knows how to use it. Pay what it takes to get the sizes right the first time or just guess and pay what it takes to replace your mistakes.

Do you have another road bike you can compare the fit to?
Effective top tube (dimension "C") in the chart is most important. But, know that the seat tube angle ("E") can affect this as the saddle would need to be adjusted fore or aft if the angle of this frame is slacker or steeper, respectively, relative to the comparison frame. This is so the saddle is in the same position relative to the bottom bracket and cranks.
The correct frame size will get you in the ballpark, then the stem length fine-tunes the reach. The stem angle and/or position on the steerer will set the saddle to bar drop distance.
If you don't have another road bike, maybe try out a couple at the LBS and compare geometries to the above chart. But, at least buy some stuff from them.
Again, if you can compare it to another bike you ride, you can get a good sense of the reach you want, then it's just a matter of math to get the correct frame size and stem length to determine the overall reach.
"Aggressive" to me means being stretched out and low. A smaller frame and relatively longer stem MAY get you this.

+1, what bike do you ride now ?, state those dimensions..
My RB1 has a 565 top tube , If it were Me, I'd Match that ,, sloping top tube
means the seat tube length, aka Size, is is secondary.

Order what you want but consider you will have to return it if you guess wrong. BTW, your inseam length means nothing when choosing a stem. As I said in my first posting, you are asking us to do the impossible from the info you gave. You said your old bike "wasn't the best fit". Where was it lacking and use that information to determine the right replacements.

If you dont have a clue about bike fit for yourself , you are likely to get it Wrong..
and blind guesses from this forum won't help.
Probably should buy a Bike from a shop. they can see you on a bike
and so try to get the fit better, without so much Guess work.
Good luck..
