Does the Di2 Alfine work with Flight Deck computers?
I'm contemplating a change to Alfine Di2 on my IGH-converted Gios (Fredo, my do-everything bike). I don't like the battery & controller, but do like the idea of an integrated shifter option that's better looking than the Versa VRS integrated shifters for Alfine.
I have cross-top levers and a bell on my bike and I intend to keep them, but it makes the top of the bars pretty crowded. I like the gear & batt level display I've seen on Alfine Di2 bikes, but I don't have room for that and a regular computer - nor do I want 2 pieces of electronics up there anyhow.
Is there a Di2 Flight Deck computer that will work with the Alfine setup and show me that gear/batt info along with other normal stuff like speed, odo, time of day, cadence, etc?

According to my mechanic's contact at Shimano, there is no Flight Deck for Alfine with Di2, at least in North America. When asked about Europe, he wasn't sure.
I was kind of turned off by the cost, rather turned off by the big/ugly hub, really turned off by the big ugly controller, but very turned on by the ability to have integrated brifters - and I also liked that cool blue stripe on the brake/shift lever. But I was on the fence at best. This very well might be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
I mean - come on, guys. How stupid is it that 2 of your 3 flavors of Di2 work with the Di2 Flight Deck and the 3rd doesn't? It's not like I especially wanted one of those FD computers - they're grossly overpriced. But I sure as hell don't want one display for gear/batt and another for everything else - especially when Shimano already makes Di2 computers that display gear/batt.
It's not so much that I can't afford it or wouldn't be able to use & enjoy it, as not wanting a company to get my money when they charge that much for a half-baked solution.

More importantly, does it show bell status levels?
