Unknown downtube braze-on cable stop

Hello folks, I've got a frame that has these:

I'm used to square type shifter bosses on my C&V bikes so this is something I've never seen before. What parts would I use to mount a cable stop here? The inner diameter is about 3.5mm, and the width is 8mm

Do I need to use something like the Jagwire Rocket Adjuster ?

Thanks!

The adjusters you linked to are for STI shifters. You need adjusters that thread into the cable stops. These are the ones you need. The Mickey's are are for unthreaded stops and the others are for threaded stops. You need the indexing adjustment barrels.

Thanks for the tip. So the Mickeys should fit in that 3.5-4.0mm hole?

Only if they aren't threaded. From your picture, the stops are threaded so you need the BSA028 or BSA039 adjusters (see the link for the part number).

+1

These appear to be standard threaded stops. However they also seem to be painted on the inside so there's a decent chance you'll need a tap to chase them out. Cross that bridge when you get to it, so buy the adjusters and try your luck. Then IF necessary you can tape these clean.

I don't think they are painted. The frame appears to be titanium.
