Not sure about whether it's LX quality or above, but would these work? I beleive they're NOS or takeoffs, dirt is from laying around.
Edit: may not work, as these are v-brake levers, not canti. http://haywirelacrosse.com/ron/vbrake.jpg |
I'm looking for a Simplex front derailleur band - the front half that broke. It is Simplex SJ A102. I will try to attach a photo. If that doesn't work I'll show the link to see it. Shipping would be to the Portland, OR metro area. I realize this is a tiny part, but would be nice if I could use, the otherwise healthy, derailleur.
Thanks.http://velobase.com/CompImages/FDera...BAF8B7507.jpeg VeloBase.com - Component: Simplex SJ A102 |

I have ... tubular rims...
ISO two good+ condition 36h tubular rims suitable and correct circa 1974, i.e, Fiamme red label, Super Champion, etc. (non-anodized silver, eyelets, straight, able to be highly polished). Have: One Fiamme red label track rim 36h; Early D/A hubs one front, one rear, don't think they match exaclty; one pair anodized tubular aero rims, guessing late '80s (no label, could be Matrix, Mavic, not sure, Campy LF front hub; guts from Campy 126mm rear hub including nice races, axle, cones; two pairs early D/A brakes in nice shape (but IIRC one front one has a bent arm from hitting the frame). Pics on request. |
My whole stack of the unbuilt are grey/brown anodized Mavic GP4's. I have 3-4 sets of tubular wheels that are built with new, or nearly new rims appropriate to the era, but all are anodized and also being worn by some of the nicer horses in the stable.

ISO bar-end shifters. Not terribly concerned with brand/gearing, as I'm happy using them in friction mode, but 7-speed Shimano would be a bonus. Shimano shifter pods would also work.
Have: The collection has thinned recently, but I've got a bit to trade. Very nice 28h early Deore front hub, 36h Suntour 7-speed rear freewheel hub, Weinmann centerpulls & levers, Nervar sport crankset, Huret challenger mechs. More - just ask. |

I have a few 8-speed Shimano freehubs, and would like to trade one or more for 7-speed hyperglide freehub(s).
Let me know what you've got. No Dura Ace. Thanks, -John |

ISO:
Suntour ratcheting friction shifters. I have given up on getting indexed shifters to work on the Klein I'm trying to build. The bike came with Superbe Pro but I'm insufficiently familiar with those shifters. DiaCompe aero brake levers, with the half-hood, in good shape. Grey with white hoods or black with white hoods will suffice. Have: Plenty. Including a nice Superbe Pro crankset and an average Superbe Pro crankset, some modern stuff, a bunch of nice square taper BB's, Shimano 6400 pedals w/clips. Look Carbon delta pedals in red, Ofmega Sintesi pedals with clips, modern triple cranksets (105 and Tiagra)....it goes on... |

Available - a Shimano UN72 Italian threaded bottom bracket in very good condition.
Tell you what, I will trade the bottom bracket off for 3 sets of new road brake cables. That should get me through some upcoming projects. Heck I'll even pay the shipping on the bottom bracket. PM please. |

Iso: 700 cx st-c070
ISO-Need to replace the rear 7 speed Shimano 700 CX ST-C070.
Bike was knocked over recently which left me with a broken rear shifter. I've only just begun looking for a replacement but there's not much information on them and none listed for sale. |

Edit: I also have 8-speed axles, so if you want to convert a 7-speed hub to 8-speed, send me the hub and I'll swap axles and freehubs, and send it back.

You may have to bring them to da house, but I'm working on some shiny ones. The Klein could be a show-stopper, in a retro roadie way. You won't like it (new tires).

Needing one or two Cannondale tire socks, blue or black. Have red to trade.
Also have: One Fiamme red label track rim 36h; Early D/A hubs one front, one rear, don't think they match exaclty; one pair anodized tubular aero rims, guessing late '80s (no label, could be Matrix, Mavic, not sure, Campy LF front hub; guts from Campy 126mm rear hub including nice races, axle, cones; two pairs early D/A brakes in nice shape (but IIRC one front one has a bent arm from hitting the frame). Chrome steel pump retainers, Campy NR cage plates and inner spring. Much more small crap. Pics on request. |
I need a 27.0 seatpost, prefer a setback style and clear anodized. Can be cosmetically challenged, since this is for the Clunker Challenge (1988 Specialized Sirrus), but should fit with a road bike.
EDIT: I also need a 68 113 H3 BB spindle (that's a symmetrical one - 30.5/52/30.5) I need to do an inventory of what I have to trade, so let me know if there's anything in particular you need. |
I've got you covered on the spindle - I've got one laying around that didn't fit my last project. PM me your address and I'll pop it in the mail.

I'm looking for a 26x1 campy lockring for 9 speed cassette (non 11T starting sprocket).
These are increasingly hard to find...I do know Marchisio makes them but I thought I'd try here first. Part number is CS-201. |

ISO 20-21" frame
My wife wants a road bike for her birthday and I want a project. It doesn't need to be epic but should be quality. So I am looking for a 20-21" frame. No dents or bends please but surface rust is ok (id just have it powder coated). Thanks!

Well, it's not... This way I can give a gift with no sentiment attached, but also know I'm giving him something pretty cool (certainly far better than my Huffy 10 speed BITD).
