Actually, Jon at Redclover also sells a 37t 122 BCD chainring. I have one of his 37t rings and one of his triplizers. Both are as awesome as @jonvara; is.
:thumb: Have a local cycling friend who found a 37T 122 bcd Stronglight marked c/w. Could have knocked me over with a feather. All of the catalogues and technical materials say that 38T was the smallest they made. Although for practical purposes one tooth on the front does not make a very big difference. ----- |

Could you post a photo of that Stronglight 37? I have heard from numerous sources that Stronglight made small numbers of them, although I have never seen one. I've never been sure that the whole thing isn't just an urban legend. I'd love to see an actual photo of one.
All I can do is to testify that I have seen one and held it in me hand. Do not own a digital camera and my friend is even less computer literate than meself, which is saying a lot. :o ----- |

Okay, I believe you. Not sure what a photo would reveal, anyway. I'm guessing it looks a lot like a 38 but with one fewer teeth.

Close, but the last tooth is actually a small horn that emerges from its forehead. ;)

If you haven't found one, have you tried shimming your 26.4 into a 26.6? I've had good luck using a couple layers of aluminum from a soda can to increase by .2 in diameter. Not the most elegant solution but it works.

ISO tall stem with 80-90mm reach. 25.4 clamp. Something like the Soma Sutra pictured below, 180mm high on the quill would be good. I can get one on 3bay for about $40 but thought I'd try trading here first.
Also need 27.2 seat post with a longer setback than the one shown below, about an inch more would do it, 1.5" more would be even better. Have lots of vintage derailleurs, saddles, shifters, misc and other considerations to swap. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4499/...51cd77cd_b.jpg https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4446/...01f0c242_b.jpg |
ISO - Shimano RD-L525 Long Cage (the all aluminum model), preferably in really good condition.
I've got some 600EX parts to trade along with a few odds and ends. Thanks |

I can't help you with a stem or seatpost, but I think I have my own stem problem solved on my too-small bike. I got a threadless adapter. Threadless stems come in all kinds of angles and lengths, so I got my bars high and far out. |

Is there a too-small bike you're determined to make work? ;)
The only reason I'm giving it a go is the enormous tire clearance and the cantis. I'm pretty close to where I need to be on this thing and it should be a hell of a mudder/gravel bike if I get it dialed in. Of course, it's efficient and stiff as hell, so it's be fun for big fat guy like me when I'm feeling strong enough for the local logging roads. |
