Bronze Gears: Huret Dropout Adapter

ISO Cinelli stem, old oval logo, 100mm, 26.0. Can swap for my 110mm stem which has some scarring around the neck area. Would expect similar condition or better in trade with extra compensation in parts (bars, other?) as required.

Wouldn't old logo be 26.4mm?

ISO a couple of these. One is for an old 66-67 AMF Hercules (Raleigh) 3 speed, and another for a 68 Schwinn Breeze 3 speed. Seems to be a common lost or broken piece mounting the brakes/fenders to the crossbar on the seatstays.
I'm assuming they are the same or close enough to fit either?

Well at first I thought "no, it's definitely 26.0, and velobase backs me up, saying that stem was offered in both 26.0 and 26.4mm."

So, I put some 1" - 2" mics on the bar at the clamp diamter. It measured 26.21mm - right in the middle. Cinelli Mod GIRO D'ITALIA it says, and I have no reason to think it's not original to the bike circa 1974.

Other bars measured 26.39 (3TTT), 26.16 (no-name), 25,5 (Sakae), and 26.21 (Cinelli Criterium).

I dunno what I have. Or what I need.

Do you need thicker or thinner spacers? I have two of each.

ISO Stronglight 93 triple, 9/16 pedal threading preferred. Good luck to me.

You know, the smallest ring you can put on a mod. 93 (122 bcd) is a 38t. Not great for a triple setup. You can opt for the Red Clover triplizer, however.

Yeah. I may just go with a double + chain guard. The Super Course I’m working on has a 125mm Stronglight spindle, and I’d like to put a 93 on it, so...

And yes, the triplizer is a good option.

Welcome to the land of actual vs nominal.

Keep in mind that bar centers can experience deformation from being clamped so it is a good idea to take two or three measurements.

I'm with CV-6 on expecting the 26.4 size - well at least nominal. :rolleyes:

Actually, Jon at Redclover also sells a 37t 122 BCD chainring. I have one of his 37t rings and one of his triplizers. Both are as awesome as [MENTION=52458]jonwvara[/MENTION] is.

9/16 pedal thread is easy, strip axle's out of an old set of pedal's, file or cut slots across the threads lengthwise with the axle, deeper at the end, mount in vice, I use anti-seize for cutting, start the process carefully, make sure they start square and feel your way in, then see-saw 1/4 to 1/2 a turn at a time till you get to the end.
