ISO
A pair of Deore Rapidfire 3x7 shifter/brakes or just shifters. Functionality is a priority, and cosmetics is secondary.

Have
All kinds of old stuff, not valuable though. We can't talk $ here, so if that is your need, PM me.

ISO Sugino VP triple crankset. Prefer 170, with 48/38/28 as that is what came on this Diamondback I am trying to get back on the road. I have a Sugino GT triple crankset, but when installing it the little chainring hit the frame, so they must take different bottom brackets. So alternatively I could be looking for a Sugino GT triple bottom bracket, if anyone knows the proper dimensions for one of those.

I have fair number of number of items I could trade, including various cranksets and chainrings.

I need a 27.0 seatpost, prefer a setback style and clear anodized. Can be cosmetically challenged, since this is for the Clunker Challenge (1988 Specialized Sirrus), but should fit with a road bike.

EDIT: I also need a 68 113 H3 BB spindle (that's a symmetrical one - 30.5/52/30.5)

I need to do an inventory of what I have to trade, so let me know if there's anything in particular you need.

I've got a 27.0 campy seatpost that came on this beat up frame I just bought for the groupset. It's a bit short though, so PM me and I'll send a photo and we'll talk!

ISO brake lever pivot/stud

I lost my head and I over-tightened the screw on a Weinmann brake lever. I broke the pivot/stud piece. Does anyone have one laying around so I don't have to pay $10 for one on ebay? I need the non-suicide lever type with the hole centered in the middle. I don't care if it isn't silver like the one I broke. I don't really have anything small to trade (but you can ask if you are looking for something), so how does $5 sound for the shipping and effort required? Thanks,

Jon

You need to link to the image, not the page. Flikr goes out of its way to obfuscate the image location by blocking the right-click action on the image. I had to open the page source code and look for the JPG file.

^ Thank you, John! I'll probably forget by next time!

I already have a pivot on the way to me tomorrow. Thanks, eom!

I might have some, I can't remember if they're Deore or not. I'll check this evening and send you a PM.

Yeah, I sometimes wonder if the engineer who came up with that design was eventually fired.

Works great with my wife's "anatomic" saddle with a cutout. ;) Not very period appropriate, but very anatomically appropriate. :thumb:

ISO: SR Super Custom NDS 170mm crank arm. Or just a Custom NDS arm would be close enough. I lost one in the mail recently (covered by Priority Mail insurance!).

I might have a Custom NDS arm, not sure of length. I will try to remember to check when I get home. Chris

Got it - it looks perfect. Thank you, I owe you one!
