Early/mid '80's Kuwahara Aries cro moly frame and fork, 22.5". Light metallic blue, no dents just chips and scratches. Too large for me! Hopefully someone local can use it - maybe trade for a basic alloy 27.2 seat post or angled 50-60mm thread less stem?

Yeah, I sometimes wonder if the engineer who came up with that design was eventually fired.

But unfortunately, I do not have the crank arm you need, sorry! |

That's why he went at night.
That gung-ho security guard who eventually spotted us out there just wouldn't take my cousin's word for it despite his repeatedly shouting from across the whitened fairways, "I. AM A MEMBER. OF THIS CLUB." The funny thing is, he was actually telling the truth. Because of all the rounds he'd played there, of course he knew exactly which direction to go when the security guard got too close. A little yellow Ford Courier pickup truck racing around the course's perimeter road trying to spot us with his spotlight; and when he did, a little fat security guard jumping out of the truck and trying to chase us down (and a dozen times falling down) in five inches of fresh snow... Not bike related, but a fun episode of my callow youth which I haven't thought of in a long, long time. |

Sorry so long to check back. Could not locate the post till I found it holding up a saddle on the Sekine. Good luck finding one!

LOL, flashbacks to back in college when my cousin and I both got new XC skis just on the same December night a blanket of snow buried the Seattle Golf Club in 5 inches of snow. Of course we decided that was the perfect place to test our our new boards. Both of us veteran Alpine skiers, neither of us had tried XC skis before.

My wife and I XC ski on a golf course near our home. We are not the only ones, and all of us avoid the tees and greens. The club doesn't seem to mind.

I think SGC is a bit too hoity-toity to put up with any of that kind of nonsense. They certainly were back then, anyway. How many golf courses even have a full-time night watchman?

Still looking. Anyone?

I am missing the dust cap from one of my Suntour Cyclone 7000 pedals.
My guess is that dust caps from other Suntour pedals would work too. If you have one let me know. |

ISO: SR Super Custom NDS 170mm crank arm. Or just a Custom NDS arm would be close enough. I lost one in the mail recently (covered by Priority Mail insurance!).

I have tried them. They kind of fit. The outside diameter of the original cap is just a little smaller and the surface on the pedal is recessed so the MKS caps can't be screwed in all the way.

SunTour pedals were made by Mikashima. I suspect the readily available MKS "Sylvan" dustcaps would work:

iso 26.8 seatpost silver or black longish. Who knew a vintage Italian frame wouldn't be 27.2?
have 27.2 "Strong" brand Japanese post 10mm setback 180mm length good condition above the min insertion mark. Also have NOS Victory rd cages, Miche Italian bb cups and bearings, Look pedals, New and used Shimano 9000 chainrings, various carbon flat bars and other junk no one else wants |
ISO 75mm - 80mm quill stem, silver, good or better shape. Prefer higher end as the bike has a DA groupset. Have 100mm Cinelli that I'll be taking off, plus lots of 'box o' crap' stuff. LMK.

49 years old, just getting back on a bike after a 15 year separation from where i belong. all alone looking at the pavement pulling a smooth cadence.
got lucky and a good friend that got something very special for free and didn't know what it was, or care about bikes at all. so he gave it to me to restart what he recognized i needed. appx 1988 ( ??? ) vitus aluminum Cillo running sew-ups. you can't imagine how thrilled i am. but it's missing the toe clips. i am in desperate need to beg someone, anyone, for a set of them for a pair of shimano 600's. circa mid - late 80's don't know what i would have to trade, but tell me what you're into ... IMPORTANT EDIT : i've also been out of work for 16 months after losing my job of 12 years, so i don't have any cash to simply buy them from you. sorry guys. |
ISO front hub cone for Shimano HB-6207 600EX series hub.
Length 11.4mm, diameter 14.9ish mm. I have already looked at Wheelpro, loosescrews and ebay with no luck. Only need one but would take two if you have them. Don't have a lot of trade worthy parts but let me know what you need and I'll see what I can do. I do have a complete HB-6207 36h front hub with bad cones but otherwise complete if you need it or any parts from it, picked it up hoping the cones would be good but of course they weren't. Thank you. http://i.imgur.com/LTcVFGJl.jpg |

I was riding my bike when my Shimano 105 RD-1051 short cage rear derailleur fell apart. I lost both cogs, the bolts and the short cage plate.
Does anybody have a 105 short cage derailleur from this vintage? |
I might, but it's definitely just rider condition. I'll check the model numbering
EDIT: not a 105, but a level below, paired w/105 shifters to trick me.
