ISO: NDS Campy Record crank arm, 170mm, preferably early '70s and definitely pre-CSPC
Have: a bunch of stuff, what might you need? |
ISO Mavic XP 12 rim, 32h. A friend kinked up his front wheel. :( I'm helping him replace it. Or trying to help anyway.

I'm looking for a pair of 700c Mavic MA40 rims in good condition with lots of life left. Could be 36/36 or 36/32 or 32/32.
Anybody have a pair kickin around? |

Can send you pics when they arrive, but from what I've seen they look pretty good. Brake tracks are worn but I don't know how much yet. |

Anybody have a pair kickin around? I've got a pair of Mavis 36/36 rims I used briefly on a touring bike-- one is MA40, the other Module 3 CD-- but pretty much identical to my eye except maybe the shoulders on the 3cd are slightly more tapered. They are the brown/smoke colored rim color. The MA 40 has had some sidewall use, but not a lot. The Module 3cd is pretty much unused. One is this: VeloBase.com - Component: Mavic Module 3CD and the other, this: VeloBase.com - Component: Mavic MA 40 Assuming specs of vintage are consistent-- you can compare the slight differences here: http://www.bikepro.com/products/rims/rimtables.html basically the 3cd could handle a slightly wider tire by my take. Let me know if of interest. |
ISO - 5 speed freewheel 14-32 with minimal wear.
Have - other freewheels, Shimano 9 speed cassettes, assorted rear derailleurs and some odds & ends. (located) Thanks |
ISO: 80MM 26.0 1 inch stem. would love to find a NITTO, but willing to try something different.
|
ISO: Shimano 9x3 speed brifters. Preferably Ultegra but not necessary. Not as concerned with appearance as with functionality.
I can purchase straight out, but, I also have a parts drawer that's looking to be cleaned out. |

LOL, flashbacks to back in college when my cousin and I both got new XC skis just on the same December night a blanket of snow buried the Seattle Golf Club in 5 inches of snow. Of course we decided that was the perfect place to test our our new boards. Both of us veteran Alpine skiers, neither of us had tried XC skis before.
That gung-ho security guard who eventually spotted us out there just wouldn't take my cousin's word for it despite his repeatedly shouting from across the whitened fairways, "I. AM A MEMBER. OF THIS CLUB." The funny thing is, he was actually telling the truth. Because of all the rounds he'd played there, of course he knew exactly which direction to go when the security guard got too close. A little yellow Ford Courier pickup truck racing around the course's perimeter road trying to spot us with his spotlight; and when he did, a little fat security guard jumping out of the truck and trying to chase us down (and a dozen times falling down) in five inches of fresh snow... Not bike related, but a fun episode of my callow youth which I haven't thought of in a long, long time. |
ISO: 6208? Shifters
Looking for a set of shifters into which I can swap the R innards from a R 7900 DT shifter.
I have a set of RX100 shifters but the guru I consulted is not sure of the swap on those. In exchange, the remaining shifters left over, or Stuff... |

Let me know if you want the Light Action set, the R shifter guts are damaged beyond use but I can send the set minus the right guts if they will work for you. |
ISO French thread freewheel
Preferably 26+ T nothing under 24T. Doesn't have to be European, but would prefer better grade. I have a lot of parts if you're looking to trade.
|
ISO: 122 BCD chain ring with 44 or fewer teeth. This BCD size is used on several Stonglight cranks, including the beautiful star-shaped 93 model, where this ring will go on a '73-ish Raleigh Grand Sport. (This one's white with azure blue head tube and ST bands, "Raleigh" is script not block font on DT, and yes, it says Grand Sport.)
I am willing to buy outright, or have a wide variety of trade-able items. If you have a ring, let's "talk" and figure out what works best for you. |

ISO 110 quill stem, prefer Cinelli or 3t. 26 or 26.4 clamp.
Have stems ranging from 70-100 in size. Lots of other kinds of stuff - freewheels, bottom brackets, watcha need? |
Have: Brown (not honey) imperial standard men's Brooks Professional. 300km, not broken in. Purchased new in 2017, otherwise perfect.
Want: Brown (not honey) standard men's Brooks B17. Black might be OK too but I'd prefer brown. Similar mileage, age and condition. |

Early/mid '80's Kuwahara Aries cro moly frame and fork, 22.5". Light metallic blue, no dents just chips and scratches. Too large for me! Hopefully someone local can use it - maybe trade for a basic alloy 27.2 seat post or angled 50-60mm thread less stem?

I'm looking for a 26 x 1 3/8" (EA3, 650a, standard English three speed size) wheel with a coaster brake hub. Single speed coaster brake, not a three speed. I might like a matching front wheel with that, but not required.
I have... well, pretty much everything else. Somewhere in my hoard I'll find you something you want, I promise. |
Want: Green Michelin aircomp latex tube. Preferably blown out or damaged, don't care what size. Just going to use it for a chainstay guard.
Have: All sorts of junk, lots of 7spd stuff right now. |
[UPDATE] Crankset acquired. :)
Have: '86 Cyclone crankset, 165mm, minor scratches on crank arms but VG overall condition... or Sugino 75 road set, 170mm Want: '86 Cyclone, 170mm... or Shimano 600 (6400) or D/A (7400, no Dynadrive). Thanks! :) |
