Steel "Specialized Seqoia"

Frame was sold to me as a Specialized Seqoia frame. You can see the letters Seqoia on the frame and it has Ritchey drop outs. The collor looks a bit like titanium but it's not.
Build it up with:
Titanium handlebar
Hope stem and seatpost clamp
USE suspension seatpost
Specialized saddle
Rock Shoc Judy T2 fork
Shimano xt thumbshifters
Shimano xt 739 crankset
Shimano deore xtr fd-m901 front derailleur
Shimano xtr m900 cantilever brakes
Shimano xtr m900 hubs on Wolber tm18 rims
Ritchey megabyte wcs 2.35 front and Specialized teammaster 2.1 rear tyre
Shimano xtr rd-m952 silver edition rear derailleur
Chris King Rasta headset
tektro cnc brake handles
Ringle peace sign cablehanger
Most of the parts are new,nos or hardly used.

Bikes: Bikes??? Thought this was social media?!?

Welcome to C&V. A visually stimulated crowd.
Sounds really pic worthy.
Judy and Ti got me interested.

From my limited experience, prefer tires same size, but depends on where/what you ride.

Bikes: It's complicated.

Andy_K has one, he says it's his favorite rider right now.

Bikes: Yes

I'd be interested in seeing a picture. Something doesn't line up here. The Ritchey dropouts and the component mix suggest late 90's. I'm not sure the Sequoia brand was used at that time, and I've never seen a Sequoia with a suspension fork. I suspect a previous owner did some customization.

Pix would be really good- this strikes me as a 1994+ bike- not that it can't be "vintage" or "classic" from that time, but it seems like it might be out of this crowd's wheelhouse... so to speak.

The Faux Ti finish and Ritchey dropouts make me think Jamis dragon. I don't recall the dragon coming plated like that but Jamis did use that finish on a few bikes in the late '90s and early '00. At the time nobody else was really making steel hardtails with suspension forks anymore.
