Nearing completion: new whitewall tires by Michelin (sport), 28x700c.

Max inflation 6 bar, which gives a very elegant ride. Handy when encountering cobble stones...

Hey Lucas... I meant to thank you for doing a part-by-part listing of the bicycle. I think it's a great service to anyone who might run across the same bicycle in the future, and wondering if they have the original setup still in tact, have something to bounce if off of. It's a great looking steed, and you've done a splendid job getting it back into running order.

And let's be frank: rebuilding bikes and keeping them on the road is the most beautiful thing to do, isn't it? Kind of historic duty...
