nice, big fatties. You may have problems getting 28's in your frame. What are you riding (and how'd you blow the sidewall? Armadillos are pretty serious rubber...)

That way expensive for a DL-1. They aren't that rare, they were imported for a few years, that I know of at least, in the 70's and 80's.

Overpriced, yes, although examples in that condition have been known to fetch $400 on eBay. It's a '78-up model obviously, due to the USDOT reflectors (first seen in '77), and the elimination of the WWII-reg. white tail (1978-on). Interesting that it's the small 22" frame variant.

The lack of a Brooks saddle will considerably hurt his chances of selling it, even at a lower price. Wonder if he still has it though...might be worth it to ask.

The DL-1s were imported here from Raleigh's beginning here in the States to the very end.

Rides real nice and everything is smooth and adjusted. As soon as I can get it in the stand and look at it I'll try to figure out exactly what it is and put up some pics and serial # for help IDing.

The guy who sold it to me said if I looked on the web for Velographic I could pick up some replacement decals.

Now if I could just get this eye twitch to go away... ;)
