That way expensive for a DL-1. They aren't that rare, they were imported for a few years, that I know of at least, in the 70's and 80's.
The lack of a Brooks saddle will considerably hurt his chances of selling it, even at a lower price. Wonder if he still has it though...might be worth it to ask. The DL-1s were imported here from Raleigh's beginning here in the States to the very end. -Kurt |

Rides real nice and everything is smooth and adjusted. As soon as I can get it in the stand and look at it I'll try to figure out exactly what it is and put up some pics and serial # for help IDing. The guy who sold it to me said if I looked on the web for Velographic I could pick up some replacement decals. Now if I could just get this eye twitch to go away... ;) |
