I listed one of my frames on ebay, if you're short (no offense implied ) and want a good touring frame go ahead and make a bid, I have NO idea what it'll go for.

He must be measuring to the bottom of the saddle.

I've learned long ago not to ask... sometimes the answers can be frightening.

Besides, that means he probably doesn't know what he has and you stand a better chance at haggling over the asking price.

Speaking of measuring a frame, check this out "21 inches":

Here's one I've never seen or heard of before (A Euro-only model, I suspect):

Motobecane Velover

Offered for sale is a Motobecane Velolover dating from c1978 - this a sort of a cross between a BMX and a cruiser with rear suspension and five indexed Shimano Positron gears and plastic wheels with drum brakes front and rear. It is in remarkably original and lightly used condition - the dynamo and rear light is missing as is the chainguard but all the parts are correct and only very lightly worn. This is a very rare bike that will appeal to those who like the unusual.
I would prefer not to ship as it will be very awkward to pack - I can certainly deliver to the London area and possibly other areas too. Collection is also very welcome.

Payment and Shipping: International orders are most welcome and are exceptionally easy. Payment can be made by: Paypal, sending an International Money Order made out in GBP or in American Express Traveller’s Cheques in Dollars or a personal cheque made out in GBP drawn on a British Bank. Insurance is available at 3% of the final bid price. All items paid for by Paypal must be sent insured. Money orders in dollars cannot be accepted. $ should be worked out at the rate of $2.10 to the GBP. Shipping to the USA uninsured will be 135 GBP, to Japan 170 GBP and within the UK it will be 30 GBP. There is no extra charge for packing. All items are carefully packed.

Yesterday I spot this ad for two '89 Panasonic AL-7000 that have been kept outdoors... only $40 each though! https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/765817550.html

Today, this one shows up. Same bike, nothing done to it other than the new buyer now thinks it is a $150 bike.

it could be just a 'flip' that happened quick. Although it's a free market, it always irks me when this happens. I tried to score a sweet cherry red Miyata 310 or 710 (CHI NW burbs C-list)recently that was located some miles away. $90 bucks. Mint. Arranged a drive by when I was heading to the city, but they had sold it. Next day, same pics in Downtown Chi C-List for 75 dollars more.

All I wanted to do with it was ride it. The flippers are making it impossible for bikers to afford stuff anymore

Some good deals out there today...

1988 Panasonic DX-3000 in Baltimore for $35! Large size
https://baltimore.craigslist.org/bik/766739187.html

1985 Panasonic DX-4000 with Shimano 600 EX in Albany, NY area. Guy has an $85 offer, might be a great deal sub $150. Chain is rusty. The guy simply cannot take a decent photo to save his life. I figured out what the bike was from seeing two decals on the tubes and asked him to confirm. ;-)
https://albany.craigslist.org/bik/766239443.html

1987 DX-3000 in Kansas City, MO area for $110. Seems larger than a 51cm to me?

I picked up this Zebrakenko Olympic Ace this morning. Campy hubs, crank and pedals. It's kind of a late 1980's snapshot of accessories with the handlebar bag, foam grips, Flickstand and Cat Eye computer! Both of the toe clip strap loops were broken off from pedaling with the pedals upside down. I really like the colors of orange and green. I have to say that I'm excited as I had a Zebrakenko Ace back in the late 1970's and really liked it.

CraigsList is definitely being watched closely. The seller had a high number of calls including one from San Francisco!

That or the fact that it was outed on the BOBishBikesFS list -- glad to hear that you ended up with it.

Yeah and only 20 inches too. This is being sold by a racer? Has he never ridden any other bike? Extra fishy description; xtra fishy price. Extra fishy?

Hopefully you'll get them. I'd have to build a whole bike around them and that could get expensive.
