If someone could pick this up in Spokane it might be interesting, he has a stupid high shipping price.
It would cost me $102.62, and I live just over the mountains! I could drive there and back cheaper than that . There's a few people in that neck of the woods, though...but it's too big for me.

We're troublemakers, aren't we? Did you manage to find a good handlebar, by the way? I looked over the stable, and almost all of them had something along this line:

East Hill, were you the one on the hunt for small frames?

Here's a small Bianchi, looks like the front wheel is a 650c or 26in.

Anyone here buy this Guerciotti?
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...7348&rd=1&rd=1

Nice looking bike. I must admit to bidding on it, but it got too high for me, since I already have an SLX Guerciotti, and my wife was in the room.

Nice bike, in any case.

'Tis indeed a small frame! I've got two other bikes with the smaller front wheel, they are usually 24".

Any idea what model/componentry would be on this bike? That's a nice price (busy calculating how she would get the beast up to Puget Sound...)

Now that Suteki didn't even sell for $29.99! You can't even buy a set of clip-on fenders for that price...;o)

Easthill I just got a bar off a friend....that exact bar by the way...he tried eBay with no bidders. I think that is the original bar that came on the 84 Centurion.

Oh wait...seems the seller reconsidered on the Suteki and relisted it as a "will ship" auction...

that bar shoud be perfect...

As long as it doesn't fail in some way...I've heard differing points of view on riding with old bars..;o)

They are used but seem "gently' used. I'll eyeball them real good when I get them.

After careful consideration, I passed yesterday on a thrift store $40 Suteki. 23" fame, very early Shimano 600 derailleurs, Tourney center pulls and Tourney double crank, Arabesque suicide brake levers with hoods intact. It was a 'nice' bike--but too small, hard to re-sell for a good price, overpriced for stripping its parts, and even though made in Japan, nicely lugged and not egregiously heavy, it lacked any tubing identifying decals. Frankly, it hurt to leave it there.

Wednesday is "half-price" day at several thrift store chains. You might have passed on a $20.00 bike.

That bike was like a sad-eyed, yet ever-hopeful, old dog watching her "last-chance" prospective owner walk out of the pound...

Alas, 'tis not the needle that awaits that Suteki, but the rusty dumpster in the back alley is calling its name.

(I know bikes [and dumpsters] don't like to be anthropomorphized, but I couldn't resist!)

You are obviously not in the SF Bay Area! Or anywhere near a college town, for that matter .
