How can you not love a bike from mom? Looks like a great personalized ride Genshu. The Brooks appears to be broken in.

Panasonic PT-3500
Actually doing some test rides to see if this is going to actually replace the Voyageur due to fit. We'll see.

Here's my Trek 715 sport tourer done up in its Office Bike livery. I keep this bike at the office and ride to meetings and lunches during the day. Occasionally ride home and back but it's not the most pleasant ride at rush hour. I looked for this bike for a long time and finally found it on Ebay. Was just about to say that it's now in final form but I would love to find a pristine version of the original Rigida rims to put back on. Maybe the velo orange versions would be OK. But for the time being these Open 4CD Mavics are working well with the Panaracer 32s. Weighs in at a reasonably svelte 25.5 lbs (w/o the OYB bag).

Why thank you. Yes, it was important that i arrive at business meetings on a civilized, sophisticated ride. From time to time I have been known to valet park it.

I picked up this frame 7-8 years ago with some plan in mind that never developed. In an effort to clear our some frames and project bikes, I pieced it together to flip. It's a 1985 LeTour Luxe in the 48cm size.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
It is a fabulous bike... have passed on several Miyata 1000 as The Cascade is such a great fit, I love the way all the parts came together, and the bike and I have traveled tens of thousands of km together and I plan on riding tens of thousands more.
It is one of Kuwahara's top Japanese made models and has a hand built sticker in Kenji and English, tubes are quad butted Ishiwata which makes this bike very stiff which is great when you really load it down and the ride then gets as smooth as silk.
Unloaded it is pretty stiff and I usually drop the tyre pressure to 75 if it is just me... the wider section rims affect the deflection enough that lower tyre pressures can be run and you still get a great roll out.

Classic Touring Bikes, Monte's Ride to Defeat ALS
Not one, but three vintage touring rigs to show off here--1983 Fuji Touring Series IV, 1985 Panasonic Toring Deluxe, and 1985 Univega Gran Turismo. I built these up for our family's charity ride, Monte's Ride to Defeat ALS (www.montesride.org). There's a post about our fundraiser here:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...9#post12485629
You can learn more about the building of the bikes as well as our fundraising mission for the ALS Association at www.montesride.org

Heres my new 1985 Trek 670.
Have a few things in mind I want to do with it but overall I love it! Debating on what color tape I want to wrap the bars in and a new seat.

Here is my Mercian King of Mercia. It's not vintage (2002) but my it's definitely classic. I've been swapping out bars and stems so I haven't added any tape just yet.
