1988 Ironman Carbon, frame up build with Campy.
200? Airborne Ti, frame up build with DA.

Gosh I hope the rest go to a good home.

The 1989 Pinarello with Campy everything and the 1972 Schwinn Suburban, which will outlive me.

Out of the current inventory? I would keep my 1972 Raleigh Superbe and probably my 1989 Giant Iguana Expedtion bike. Both steel and both very easy to maintain.

Future inventory? I would keep some form of long cargo bike and a folder. Those most likely would either be a CETMA Cargo, possibly a Bakfiets with the folder being either a Brommie or a Dahon TR.

Of course this is a make believe situation, so I'd keep the 2009 Surly, 1986 Miyata, and the 1995ish Giant. Then I'd immediately go to my co-op and spend my volunteer credits on the cheapest bikes they have to put myself farther beyond the 2 bikes to let them know F.U.

If I had to keep only two it would be: my 1979 Mercian and my full suspension recumbent fitted with racks and dynohub lighting system.

They'll have to pry my lugged steel frames from my cold, dead fingers.

+1000000 rounds of ammo. Or old Shimano Biopace chainrings, maybe I could use them as throwing stars.

The unfortunate part of this is I would probably keep the Serotta and the Eisentraut, both of which are racers, but the Serotta is more comfortable on the long haul, and the Eisentraut is the most nimble bike I own. This would leave me short a utility bike, although I am working on top secret project which would serve as a utility bike and may-- just may-- be in the class of those two.

I would probably also hang the 1967 PX on the wall and claim it is art, not a bicycle, when the Walmart bike police come around.

I'll keep my Raleigh, and my Trek (course I have five Raleighs and three Treks )

Number 1 is a no brainer...number two was a little trickier. I just measured, and I am pretty sure I could put some larger tires (perhaps 700x35) in my Woodrup, as well as fenders.

The other 50%? 48% almost ready to join the previous 50%, 1% gleefully riding at 30 mph downhill on an MUP, blissfully unaware of the fact that they've rammed 25 pedestrians in the last 40 seconds, and the last 1% sitting on the sidelines, letting the original extremists get their necks wrung.

I like the way you think. My first thought was to hide my Raleigh folder under the bed and/or claim it was a toy. After that, I don't know. I mostly only use two, the Raleigh 5 speed cruiser and my 1985 BRC touring bike. But The Boy would probably want to hang onto his 1992 ProFlex mountain bike even though he has ridden a grand total of 5 km on it in 4 years....

They'll get my bikes when they pry them from my cold, dead hands.......

But hypothetically speaking, I'd keep the two chrome Paramounts.
