Yikes. I lost skis of a roof rack once, I'd really hate to lose a bike.

But man, that picture is painful. Pedalling a 65lb bike with a flat rear tire on flat ground or maybe slight incline!

Am I missing something here? Maybe I'm just not up to speed on muscle bikes.

https://stlouis.craigslist.org/bid/3421060009.html

THIS IS A REALLY RARE FIND ON THIS BICYCLE. IT IS A RAND MAJESTIC AND STAMPED MADE IN PORTUGAL. LOOKS TO BE A SCHWINN STINGRAY MUSCLE BIKE EITHER PROTOTYPE OR COPY. IT APPEARS TO ALL BE THERE BUT IS IN NEED OF A RESTORATION. WHEELS AND BARE METAL PARTS AND SEAT HAVE MUCH RUST. THE FRAME AND FORK LOOK SOLID WITH NO BREAKS OR REWELDS.TIRES ARE OLD AND SHOT BUT REAR STILL HOLDING AIR. MAYBE THERE IS SOME BIKE PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP ME WITH MORE INFO ON THIS BIKE. THIS BIKE ALSO APPEARS TO HAVE A 3 PIECE CRANK.

GOOGLE OR LOOK US UP ON EBAY AND FACE BOOK AT NICHOLS WE-SALE!

THANK YOU FOR 833 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACKS AND GROWING DAILY LIKE OUR INVENTORY. WE CARRY MANY PARTS FOR YOUR BUILD TOO!!

I WILL DELETE THIS AS SOON AS IT SELLS.........IF YOU SEE THIS AD ......THEN YES IT IS AVAILABLE.....DO NOT EMAIL ME TO ASK IF ITEM IS AVAILABLE..

"Prototype or copy"? I guess there's not much difference between the two.

We need Father Knows Best to light his pipe, put his hand on the seller's shoulder, and give these words of wisdom:

"Son, it's a cheap Stingray copy BTS (Beat to Poop) bike. The crank arms are bent because the poor kid who owned this pile packed on weight but never got a new bike. $10 is too much. Any amount of money is too much. Maybe some guy will trade you a pair of lightly worn socks for it".

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-Raleigh...item232053307d

This thing blew my mind with its insane combination of characteristics. Basket, pink, mixte, aero wheels, signed by Lance Armstrong! I get that they redid it for breast cancer awareness, but putting those wheels on that bike just looks really weird to me. Also I wonder if they'll ever get what they're asking for it, considering the signer's recent misfortunes.

Raleigh "Natzi" (sic)

Because somehow Godwin's Law hasn't yet been invoked in this thread...

1940s raliegh 3 speed original (natzi bike?) ww2 bicycle. - $500 (Eugene)
Date: 2012-11-20, 10:02AM PST

1940s unrestored but in great condition I think it was sent here from Germany in the 40s because there is a Swastika stamped in the bottom of the frame where I thought the identification number should be. Might be really rare not sure. Or just ride it as is. Thanks justin.

Of course, no photo of the swastika in question.

Walmart assembly

How the heck do you even ride this? Seems like turning would be a challange.

... bought these bikes last year from Dicks Sporting goods, rode them twice, $60 each or $100 for both. Includes 2 patted seat covers and 2 helmets (helmets never worn) Price is firm, would make a great Christmas present, there is nothing wrong with these bikes at all.

This ad for a motor scooter was posted in my local CL under bicycles. Anyway, do you think the latter led to the former?

I have a red baja scooter for sale has a little front end damage to it needs new brakes other then that it rides great.

Vintage- The year or place in which wine, esp. wine of high quality, was produced.

None of you are selling bikes made of wine.

Also, there are NO collectors for Schwinn, it just doesn't happen. If they're collecting, they're not collecting your beat up scratched up pos with rotten tires and bent mismatched wheels. Period.

The word you're looking for isn't Antique either. the word is "old"

your old 1970's bike that was only 200.00 to begin with isn't worth triple that now, being all torn up and used up. You can say I'm wrong, but that's why many of you list the same damn bike for months at a time and still don't sell it.

Here is todays protip. Go to Ebay, type in the pos bike you're selling, click "completed listings" add shipping price to total price and there you have it. A real world market value of what people will pay. you can also see what people won't pay. ie your original price.

You're welcome.
