We all love these incredibly optimistic sellers and their overpriced offerings. But now let's ignite the afterburners and ascend into the outright delusional. $7.5K.

I'm guessing accidental extra 0 there. It is very clean, you gotta give it that! For $7500 though I'd expect the yellowed dork disc to be replaced.

He doesn't list a price. But, I think he is overestimating the value of a "collector's bike".

It is cute. Does it turn/flex in the middle?

I think I'd have given the kid pedals, even if they weren't hooked to anything. But, with the head tube, the spacing is probably off.

I see it spelled "Schwann" a lot in the local CL's, makes the veins on my forehead pop out. It's right on the freaking bike, is it really that difficult to get it right? Apparently the answer is 'yes'.

In all fairness, there are a lot of these trucks driving around and people get confused. After all, it's only spelling fer chrisakes, right?

Huh - didn't know about those. I am indeed out of touch.. Sure, it's only spelling but my paranoid side suspects they're doing it on purpose... 'Scuse me while I go find my tinfoil hat...

Alas, poor PFB, I wonder the same about the misspellings. And don't get me started on bad punctuation.

Schwinn Bicycle Rear Fender Reflector Housing - $10 (Carmel, IN.)

"Schwinn 1 3/4" diameter rear fender reflector housing only. Very nice condition. More information, please telephone. Thank you. John".

I guess I really need more information?
Actually these are a hot commodity with vintage Schwinn enthusiasts, new reflectors are plentiful as they were a common size but these housings are not and they often got bent or lost. That piece can make or break a restoration and one in mint condition would easily bring $10 or a touch more.

Didn't you know, that is the latest way to add friction. Take your trainer and fenderless MTB down to the barn. Mount it up. Drop the trainer into the manure pile and let it rip.

For the asking price, I'd expect the bike to be immaculate.

I.E. A NOS rear derailleur. Perhaps replace the missing decals.

Is the bike supposed to come with those crazy expensive round pedals?
