Is it just me, or does this bike look a lot taller than 57.5 cm?

Is she riding on Big Apples or Fat Franks? Width?

I have a 91 StumpJumper that I will be fixing up and I need new tires for mostly street with some dirt/gravel.
I was considering the 2.0 Big Apples (RaceGuard) or Conti Travel Contacts.

I actually like these quite a bit.

This would make a nice drop bar conversion for a taller person. Nice color. I think someone here has one:

Not really C&V, but makes for a great commuter and the price is right.

Yes. My guess is 60 ctc. But if I was looking for one I would go measure it just for peace of mind.

I probably will. I emailed the seller, but he didn't really seem to know how to measure a bike.

proper track bikes always look taller, my benotto measures 55 and is my best fitting bike but looks like a 57 or 58, high bottom bracket, steep geometry does that

Thanks gomango, those are two good looking MTBs. I was already leaning towards the Fat Franks
Mine is white, so white tires would be too much imho.

Even if the fork wasn't bent, it would be high. Buying a crashed bike in poor condition?? Run far away.

Steve
wrk101/Bill knows. Low end Campy parts really don't make this thing special, just a little sad.

Yeah. That looks exactly like a 58cm track bike with proper geometry.

A couple of years back, I realized I was on track to purchase a new (to me) house. Since then, I started amassing images of organization within garages and shops. I still keep the archive going (which this will go into). One day, I'll post them all on C&V just to see what else people have and begin an archived spot for them.

I'm looking for some advice here...I found this local Craigslist ad and I'm not sure whether I should jump on it. I only want the Stages power meter that's included, and the seller said that he won't part out. Can I safely sell this bike for $1000? I'm just trying my best to find a cheap power meter, and this seems like a roundabout, but effective way of doing so.

It would be worth at least that much. Could you sell it for $1000? Sure. Ask for the old derailleur and cassette too.
