Free *possibly* damaged Surly LHT. If it were anywhere near my size, I would be definitely taking a look. Hopefully someone can salvage it...

Schwinn Prologue

https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/...250370827.html

I went and looked at this. The previous ad was not so good so I had to go see it. I wasn't sure of the size or components. I helped the guy with some decent photos and description so he took my advice. It has Mirage shifters, FD and RD. Veloce crank. Campi hubs and rims. Centaur brake calipers. I took it for a spin and everything works as it should. It if had a double crank or higher end Campy I would have bought it as it is my size. it is a tall frame, 24" or 61cm c-t seat tube and 57cm top tube. Pretty sure the HT is 185mm. I had the red/white fade Prologue that was too small. I like this color.

That Merckx...I tried to contact the seller when we were in Palm Springs for two weeks this past February, which is at least as long as it's been posted on CL.

Never got a response. Some of these folks don't check their e-mail often, or the responses might wind up in their spam folders. At any rate, the person who is selling this...ain't one of us.

Nishiki Competition. $200.
A bit battered, but a nice quality bike for a reasonable price. the Brooks helps lots.

The seller has lots of bikes up right now.

This more vintage mtb is pretty wacky. 3spd rear w/ internal roller brakes front and rear? What's with that... chain tensioner?

1983 Trek 720 frame and fork! 61cm so it's too big for me. He wants $180.00 for it!

https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/b...253536100.html

I know this is a grail bike and if anyone needs a facilitator I can contact this guy and make it happen. I know a shop that will pack and mail it, full bikes for for $135.00 packing and shipping and I can only imagine a stripped frame would be a lot less.

Do you think they meant 54cm? It doesn't look 64cm to me. It might be my size, and I'd love a LHT, but I have no money for repairs.

An Alan

Alan aluminum frame (Hubert NC 28539)

"Sorry about no picture but will gladly send you the deatiled pics via text...22 inch frame, silver anodized. Lugs screwed and glued. I've had this bike since I built it in 77 and I realize I'll probably never ride it again. This is a bike frame for a collector. Currently it comes with front and rear wheel,no tires. Campy record low flange on Arya gold anodized rims with a six speed free wheel . No saddle has alloy seat post, suntour crank and derailers This is the road race frame not the cyclo cross , If you're old school it still has Wiemaan side pull brakes and it all works. Feel free to call and ask questions. Also Campy shifters"

https://wilmington.craigslist.org/bi...256120203.html

(Some may contend this belongs in "Wacky..." but here's the thing. No pictures, sure, suggests one calls for more information and photos, and no phone number (even in contact area), and no price. Seller is loathe to part and would like it to go to a good new home, is what I'm thinking. It's too small for me, but I suspect if someone invested some time and was sincere, they could score a fine Alan for a very fair price. That's why I've posted it here.)

True...if the person lives nearby and he'll do pick up

That shipping might even work in buyer's favor...if it annoys bidders, it could take away more from final price than it adds.

An Ibis Bow-Ti in Napa. Flexing titanium frame softtail MTB. I really have no idea if its $5500 price tag is in line, but it's surely odd and premium.

"Small crack" in the frame and otherwise, well preserved, if we take the seller's word, it's from the early '60s, Gitane. You don't see them this vintage very often.

Panasonic DX-3000 as a fixed gear. Nice color, etc. Really nice price at $120.

1986 Cannondale ST500 for a very low price in my size. This one kills me a little--do want, but have no room. Sigh. $225! Gahhhhh.

I'm trying to resist thinking about this one. It's a 3 hour drive and I just got a beat down 1987 Tempo.

Do you think this is a 23" or 25"? It looks like a 25" based on the headtube and the stem looks 100mm. The 23" came with a 80mm stem.
