Hang in there...they're hard to sell and deals are out there. Be picky. It'll happen.

https://www.bikeforums.net/tandem-cyc...ound-sale.html
I began this thread in the Tandem Cycling forum as a means of getting out the word about tandems we find that others might be interested in. I found and posted several local bikes that were very reasonably priced. Bet you find something there!
That Schwinn Duo tandem, by the way, is not a Paramount and should not be advertised as such. In addition, I've never seen barcons set up so that they are upside down like they are on this bike.

Wow. I've been looking for an 87 for the longest time. But this one might just be my new grail bike. Wow! It looks smaller than a 53 though. But holy crap was it ever ridden? $700 seems a bit high, but 5000s almost never come up for sale. @Lazyass are you close enough to check it out in person/facilitate? I'm on the west coast

Bummer. It is incredibly clean looking. 700 (plus shipping, handling fee etc) is more than I'd like to pay at the moment for it, but they sure are hard to find especially in a 53. I'll have to mull over it a sec and jump over to the facilitators thread in a bit. What a bike! Thanks for the share.

I picked up the RB-2 today and tried for the XO-2 but I knew I was going to be a little too late on that one.
The RB-2's frame is pretty clean, the rest of it on the rougher side. Not too sure the plan on it yet. Have a few people having me look out for a bike for them so we'll see. Otherwise, probable longer term project mated to a new 105 group for the gal.

[h=2]Custom Mountain Bike - Mark Zeh Size Medium - $300 (Minnetonka, MN)[/h]Custom Mountain Bike - Mark Zeh Size Medium
Up for sale is a custom Mountain Bike. The frame was designed and manufactured by local frame builder Mark Zeh in 1996. The frame is made of True Temper steel and is a size "medium" with a 22.5 inch top tube and 18.5 inch seat tube. The bike will fit most riders between 5'7" and 5'11". A different stem may be needed to optimize fit.
Components are top of the line Shimano from 1996:
Shimano XTR RD-M950 Rear Derailleur
Shimano XTR FD-M950 Front Derailleur
XTR Crank, V-brakes and Shifters
The brake levers are XT
Fork is an 80mm travel Rockshox Sid (will include pump)
Wheels: XTR hubs with DT Swiss Rims
Bike is in good working order and is in good shape for being almost 20 years old. Many of the components are still being sold on ebay for a premium.

[h=2]Schwinn Sierra Mountian Bike 1980's? - $40 (Bloomington, MN)[/h]Schwinn Sierra Mountian Bike 1980's?
I have an older Schwinn Sierra Mountain Bike for sale. I think this would be a medium to small frame size. Shifts and brakes well, ready to ride as it is, but a tune up would make it perfect. Tires hold air. Cool chrome and blue paint job. Not sure of the year but judging by the paint and the graphics on it I would guess late 1980's? Well before Schwinn became the supplier of junk bikes to the big box stores. Has some scratches and blems on it but its a rideable bike for $40 My price is firm and cash only. Call me

Here's another Schwinn Duo tandem at a bargain price:
Schwinn Duo Sport Tandem
Schwinn Duo Sport Tandem - $300 (Disputanta)
condition: good
make / manufacturer: Schwinn
model name / number: Duo Sport Tandem
1989-90 Schwinn Duo Sport Tandem. Paramount Design Chrome Moly frame, pearl white, 2 new seats, rear bag with rack, 18 speed Suntour XCD derailleur sets with bar end shifters, 48 spoke alloy wheels (27 x 1/4) with Continental Gatorskin tires (schrader valves), Dia-Compe AD-990 center pull brakes, 4 water bottle mounts (3 cages). An bike that is in really good condition considering it is 25+ years old. Not sure of the mileage since I am not the original owner. Paint is fair and it still has the original decals. Frame is large (I am 6'2" and my wife is 5'3") with the rear ideal for a smaller individual.

1986 Della Santa - Team Lemond Pro Frame - 59cm - $450 (Fairmount) < >
I have a nice condition Team Lemond Pro frame from 1986. This is before Trek purchased them. It was made by Roland Della Santa. This is Greg Lemond's first year of making frames so its very special as only 20 of these frames were made. There are some chips on the paint of the back chain stay. It was painted by Cycle Art back in the 80s, they are still around and are excited to fix the chip on the paint. I can throw in for free the campagnolo cranks, campy bottom bracket, brakes, handle bars and wheels if desired.
Shoot me an offer!
Heres a shot of Greg riding the same frame on his instagram account
