This looks stunning to me, but I don't know anything about the Neo Primato...Thoughts? OFG, BBM?
It's too big for me and has some strange "imperfection" on the DT but I just think it's beautiful

I don't want to step on GGL205's toes if he was interested in this, but I got an email from the seller this AM it is still available.
it might be a bit high but it is not a '82. that is an '89 with SLX frame and Athena, I don't know what is up with the 8sdp though
promise of transaction protection/certification/guarantee. More info
Vintage Bianchi Campagnolo-Celeste - $700 (East Side Milwaukee)

Vintage 1982 Bianchi Giro road bike 58cm with Campagnolo Athena gruppo made with coveted Columbus SLX chromoly. Everything is Campy except seat post. It has an 8 speed cassette giving it 16 speeds.
Very low miles as I had it stored in the attic for the last 25 years. Has had a recent tune-up and lubrication with new Continental Gatorskin tires and tubes and new celeste bar tape. Almost mint condition and I even have touch-up paint which will be included. I was going to keep it but it is too radical a racing position for my old body and regrettably I have to sell this beauty.
One could part it out and sell the vintage Campagnolo parts on eBay and make a profit and then keep the frame and make it into an awesome fixie, but I am way too lazy to bother.

BG, this bike is much cleaner than I originally thought. I like Bianchi bicycles and could easily see myself riding it. Just not in the cards at the moment.

1990 Centurion Momentum (Diamondback) - - $150 (Lowell)

Reply to: sale-6yj2s-2201455298@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
1990 Centurion Momentum (Diamondback), 14 speed, 22" frame. I received this bike partially disassembled, and added the following parts to make it road worthy totaling close to $90:
Front disc fork
Front wheel and tire
Front and rear tubes
Foam handlebar grips
There is some damage to the stickers on the top tube and down tube from the bike being leaned on hard surfaces. Paint overall is in good condition (a few dings here and there), there was some rust around the edges of the bottom bracket lugs. Chain has been soaked, cleaned, and lubed. The entire bike has been scrubbed and polished to its present state. Shifting and ride are super smooth, and if the bike wasn't so tall I'd actually keep it for myself, but at 5'8" its not exactly a good fit.
Bike has Rear Brake Only! I didn't have a caliper on hand that fit with this fork. Caliper needs brake pads to be 2 3/4"-3" below the center of the caliper mounting bolt.
For an older model this bike is very light (25lbs), and will make an excellent road bike, commuter, or fixie. A new paint job, or detailing of the frame lugs would really make the lugged frame stand out. The addition of a newer/modern rear tire and wheel with cassette would further lighten the bike, and bring it a bit more up to date.
1990 Centurion Momentum (Diamondback) Specs:
Avenir Equipped
Tange Infinity CrMo tubing (Tange tubesets are high-quality double butted CrMo steel)
Lugged frame (approximately 5lbs)
Shimano Exage 300EX: shifters, crank, derailleurs, rear brake caliper
22"/55cm frame
700cX23 wheels/tires
14 speed
-Front Matrix iSO 3 wheel w/Michelin Megamium 2 tire, and Shimano 105 hub
-Rear original Araya rim with Heng Shin tire
Centurion drop bars w/new foam padding/grips
Alloy stem
New disc ready CrMo fork
Centurion was a brand of bicycles created in 1969 by Mitchell (Mitch) M. Weiner and Junya (Cozy) Yamakoshi,[1] who co-founded Western States Import Co. (WSI) in Canoga Park, California (initially Wil-Go Imports) to design, specify, distribute and market the bicycles. The bikes themselves were manufactured initially in Japan by companies including H. Tano Company of Kobe and later in Taiwan by companies including Merida. The Centurion brand was consolidated with WSI's mountain bike brand Diamond Back in 1990. WSI went out of business in 2000.

1972 Peugeot PX-10 - $225 (Wilsonville)

Reply to: sale-zdbtt-2200703536@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
I bought this bike in about 1975 from the original owner. I rode it regularly while in college and grad school, but it's basically lived in the garage since 1985 and has had very little use since then. Built with Reynolds 531 DB tubing, this was Peugeot's top bike at the time. It has non-original derailleurs (Suntour front, Shimano rear) and has bar-end shifters, but everything else is original: Super Champion rims, Normandy luxe competition hubs, Stronglight crank arms, Mafac "Racer" brakes, Brooks saddle., etc. It has ratty tubulars on it and will need new tires. It's in good cosmetic shape, but dusty from storage. It's rideable as is, but really should have a tune-up or even an overhaul.

Seven High-end vintage Colnago, Bianchi, Etc.
It looks like a collector is selling out his or her collection. All appear to be 10/10 condition and price reflects this. If you are a super descriminating collector of the best Italy had to offer, you owe yourself a visit to this site and see what is available through this sellers auctions. Many high-end frames and components too. All I can do is press my nose against the window and drool. But drooling comes naturally to me anyway.

If anyone is looking for a Terry style bike, this one for less than $100 seems to be a great option, although I did see a celeset bianchi Terry yesterday riding around...

he has some nice stuff but I think his prices are a bit high one some of it. like those Campy thumb shifters $110 for shifters that might work on a 8spd hybrid conversion?

1986 Team Fuji for sale, asking 250 bucks.
I cleaned the frame of rust, even put framesaver in the frame. I wanted to keep this frame for me but need the cash. Frame size is small it is the smallest they made so that would make it a 49cm.
The frame is in excellent condition; The decals are a little worn but ok. There is also some wear on the top tube, I think from the sun. But it is still looks excellent.
I started to put it back together but really don’t have time. I put new bearings in the headset and bottom bracket.
The components are all Suntour Sprint. This is right below superbe if im not mistaken. The only thing wrong with these are the sprint logo has rubbed off and or faded over time from the sun.
- Suntour Sprint Pedals with fuji toe straps. no cages on the pedals.
- suntour Sprint Brakes
- Suntour Sprint Brake Levers
- Suntour Sprint Downtube Shifters
- Suntour Sprint Front/Rear Derailler
- Suntour Sprint Cranks
- Suntour Hubs
- Suntour 6 speed freewheel
also has
- Nitto stem with 100mm reach not original, the original was black to match headset.
- Nitto B115 bars
- Sugino Seatpost that is colored yellow to match the frame
-
This is all pretty stock I even have the original handlebars that were black but those have faded over time also.
The hubs are laced to araya 700c wheels. The bearings are sealed, I was able to pull them out and regrease them but in the end replacements would be way better feeling.
All that is needed is bar tape, cables, and tubes and tires.
