One-Off Fuji Pursuit Titanium Track Frame+ - $600 (NW)

Date: 2011-02-23, 2:42PM EST
Reply to: sale-76zhq-2230504995@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I'm selling a one-of-a-kind track frameset that I purchased a year or so ago, but it's just too small for me (which I knew at the time I bought it, but hoped it would work anyway).

It's a 52.

The frame is from the very early days of titanium bike frames and was made custom by TiLite in Washington state back in the early 90's for Bobby Livingston (name stamped on the bottom bracket), one of Fuji's pro racers that raced in the Olympics (not on this bike). The welds are immaculate, and other than slight peeling on the decals, the frame is in PERFECT shape. It's beautiful. Really. You will not find another Fuji pursuit frame in titanium like this, I guarantee.

There are two forks with the bike. The original 24" Fuji fork that looks brand new, or the 650 fork that is currenlty on it. I have wheels for both forks that I would consider selling as well (they're very nice wheels).

The fork also includes a DuraAce 1" threaded headset (though it could use nicer spacers if you're going to use the 650b fork).

Beautiful indeed, BG but I question the value at $625 for a frame set without the original head set. As rare a Fuji as this might be, it is competing with Paramount and Raleigh Professional track bikes that can be had for around $1,000 to $1,500 complete with Camy bits. Anyone price period correct Campy, Dura Ace or Superbe Pro track parts lately? I am looking for this very same bike and in this size. Too bad it isn't in a price range that makes sense to me.

Exceptionally clean 23" Raleigh in Denver. I don't follow these and don't know anything about them but this one looks nice.

MIYATA TEAM ROAD BIKE DURA ACE 7400 LUGGED 61CM, $449 opening bid

This is a circa 1989 Miyata Team road bike with 6 speed Shimano Dura Ace 7400 components (DA AX cranks). Note the front derailleur is a 105 model. The frame is a size 61cm c/c and has a 58cm top tube c/c. No dents and no dings. The wheels are more modern Shimano 2200 hubs laced to Weinmann LP18 rims. New bar tape and new tires. Pedals are not included.

I will be interested to see if it gets bids/how high it will go. Frame looks like an '85 to me. Kind of garbagey-mix match of stuff on it.

I don't know about the year but I agree on the components. DA rd with Suntour Barcon? mismatched shifters too and it is dirty!

1988 Miyata 712 for sale. Frame is a 58cm. The bike is totally original, with the exception of the saddle. It has its original Shimano 105 groupset with Biopace crank rings. It is also sporting its original Wolber wheels. This bike is absolutely mint and I hate to see it go but I have a new project in mind and need to thin the herd. I would prefer to sell this bike to someone who will enjoy it for what it was and still is, a great riding road bike. Please email with questions.

$300 doesn't seem like a steal, but it's pretty fair I think.

^^^ Sure, a fair price if the bike is 100% ready to ride, and by all accounts it is...Miyata's...yum.
