I wonder what the frame is? if that C-Rec crank was OEM it could be SLX. if it looked a bit bigger....

Guerciotti Vintage Bike - $400 (Lone Tree Colorado)

First off, I am not a bike "techy" in any way. You may need to call me for more details. I bought this bike from the original owner in the early 80's. I think it is steel and the original paint scheme was yellow and white. Lots of modifications along the way but still the original campagnolo wheels. Frame perfect with no stress cracks. Should be a good restoration project or a awesome "fixy" Dave 303-xxx-xxxx

1985 Trek 620 Touring 60cm - $280 (sunset / parkside)

Date: 2011-08-17, 4:40PM PDT
Reply to: sale-rdbxn-2552429070@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

1985 Trek 620 touring bike for sale. Just finished a 4 day trip down the coast and the bike worked great. Brand new tires and tubes with only 4 days of riding on them. Size is 60cm c-t-c, although technically the vintage Trek brochure lists it at something like 59.75cm. I'm 6'1" and the bike fits well. Someone was trying to sell this same bike for $700 on craigslist about a month ago. That seems crazy to me, but supposedly these bikes have a following. For more info visit https://www.vintage-trek.com/ Average scratches and wear, but no dents to the frame, that I can see. Rack and handlebar bag are both included, although the bag has one broken strap. I THINK it's all original except for the rear derailleur, which looks newer. The bike rides as is, but you will probably want to adjust the derailleurs a bit as they got a little out of adjustment on my trip. I'm in the Outer Sunset, but could also meet in Palo Alto.

THREE Schwinn Voyageurs

https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/bik/2518621943.html

All of these bikes are hand made in Japan. They are rather higher end touring bikes with the tripple chain rings and HUGE cantilever brakes. They all have the braze-on for the rear rack on the seat stays. These are GREAT bikes. Two are in great shape and the other shows more use and needs a little here and there BUT is the one with Columbus Tubing. My wife is going on vacation with the girls in the family so I am selling one or two. These are not cheap bikes so the prices will be according to quality and condition. The standover is better than 34" so either be tall or comfortable on a tall bike.

Schwinn Paramount Tandem $350

No affiliation just found searching around. I wouldn't mind it but looks to be a bit too tall for my wife and I as I'm 5'5" and my wife is even shorter. I'd pick it up to sell but it would be a nightmare to ship this thing.

Vintage Road Bike 16" frame for $800 - $800 (Malden/Melrose)

Date: 2011-08-18, 7:04PM EDT
Reply to: sale-b7dtx-2554134442@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
Great road bike. Bought this about 8 years ago and it's still solid. Solid components. Just needs new tubes. This has been used and it's not in "show" quality but it is clean and will have many years of use to come. This has been my wife's bike and she's 5'3", she absolutely loves it but with two babies she has no time to enjoy it and no $ to invest on new tubes!
contact me if you will like to see more pictures.

Nice Condition Centurion Ironman Expert CroMo Shimano 105 Project! - $110 (Inman Square)

Date: 2011-08-18, 4:18PM EDT
Reply to: sale-nvwrj-2553839571@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
Here is a nice condition superlight Centurion Ironman Expert bike (~20-21 pounds as depicted). The frame is lugged butted Tange 1 tubing and about 57-58 cm C-T with 12 speeds. Tange 1 is awesome seamless CroMo that yields a buttery-smooth ride and is basically on par with Columbus SL by most accounts. The paint is in good shape, with a few scrapes etc. as would be expected and one or two minor surface rust marks. The bike comes with all original components- Win drops and stem, Sugino seatpost, Vetta Gel saddle, and everything else Shimano 105 (including pedals w/ newly replaced cages not depicted here). The Ironman Expert was a mid-range triathlon bike that is quite well regarded for its high quality frame (better than would normally be found on bikes similarly equipped), comfortable but sporty geometry, and solid components. The hubs spin free, the bottom bracket and headset turn smoothly, and the indexed shifting works impeccably. This one even has its original Biopace rings- great if you have knee problems- and Araya 370 rims. However, the rear rim is beginning to crack at one of the spoke entry points and needs to be replaced. A new wheel of comparable quality will run ~$50, hence the low price. This bike was my first "serious" road bike, but it always was a tiny bit on the small side (I'm 6'2") so I am selling it as-is rather than fixing it myself. A decent condition example of this setup runs ~$200 on ebay, and the asking price is a good deal even for just the high quality frame (the white to teal fade is VASTLY more aesthetically pleasing than the alternative pink/yellow scheme from the time period). The bike has a cool miami-vice feel that always turns heads. For more information about the Centurion brand check out what our hero Sheldon's website has to say...

1982 Trek 510 in great shape. No rust, very lightweight, rides and shifts like a dream. Ishiwata 022 CroMo tubing. Campy Hubs, Michelin Axial Carbon tires. Bars were just rewrapped and the bike was fully tuned. This bike is really beautiful and I hate to give it up. Price is set at $275 or best offer.

Compared to the typical $400 single speed these days, this one is pretty cool.

1948 Schwinn New World mens bicycle bike - $400 (Wheat Ridge, Colorado)

Beautiful 1948 Schwinn mens New World bicycle. This elegant, lightweight, totally original bicycle has the optional factory installed "Superior" options. These include the large flange "telephone dial" Superior hubs, upgraded Superior rims, European style 3 piece cottered cranks and threaded bottom bracket, lightweight tubular fork with built-in Schwinn "Yale" key lock and lightweight "Phillips" pedals. This bicycle has been completely disassembled, cleaned and correctly reassembled by an expert bicycle mechanic. The paint and all plated surfaces are original. The Uniroyal 26 x 1 .375 "hook bead" tires are near new. The bicycle has some chips and nicks but is in remarkably great condition for being 63 years old. It is a single speed (original Schwinn built in freewheel) with dual handbrakes. This would make an easy pedalling "cruiser night" special or great art to hang up in the den.

This is a beautiful vintage Trek 560 road bike that is in excellent condition.
The bike has been completely serviced and is ready to ride and enjoy! I beleive it is a Reynolds steel frame with trek lugs and one of the last models Trek handbuilt here in America. and is a relatively light bike for steel. The size is 61cm with a 33" standover height, (good for someone over 6'). It has a complete Shimano 105 group including deraileurs, crank, brakes and levers with index and/or friction shifting. If interested please leave me a contact#

I nearly went the facilitator route to get this one, but decided against it. About the lowest price you'll see for a 720 (assuming good condition). Seller thinks it's a '78, but I am certain it's an '84. $500

I believe this to be the 19" frame which makes it perfect for a smaller rider. The bike is in overall excellent shape and is rideable as is but could use a good tune up to get the gears shifting perfectly.

I recently put some new tubes, tires, and bar wrap on it... everything else is original!
