^ That one was mine, it ended up selling a week or two ago. I deleted the CL ad but maybe this reachoo hasn't quite got the message. It was a nice rider though . Wish I had taken off the American Classic seatpost.

Vintage italian shop cleanout: Campagnolo, Cinelli, Colnago, 3ttt (newton)

I have a bunch of high-end vintage Italian & French bike stuff in my collection I'm trying to thin out. Sorry no pics yet - I'll be photographing everything tonight and posting on ebay Sunday. I thought I'd see if there's local interest first.

Please include phone number in responses and let me know what you're specifically interested in. Shipping and Paypal is fine too. Thanks!

54cm Colnago Master Piu Gilco frameset: Gorgeous, structurally excellent, paintwork and chrome is still very good. 54cm c-c top tube and seat tube. Includes Campy BB. $395.

55cm Mercier frameset: Crazy light Super Vitus 980 with chrome fork. Long horizontal Vitus dropouts. Gorgeous long-point lugs. Structurally very good with no dings or dents. The paint is a 1970s disco metallic pink with a nice shine but lots of chips & scratches, so it's a good candidate for powdercoating, a winter beater or fixed gear conversion. 55cm c-c top tube and seat tube. I have the correct TA bottom bracket I'll include. $80.

54cm 1980s Peugeot: black/rainbow complete bike in gorgeous condition. Sachs-Huret groupset, VeloOrange honey brown leather bar wraps on bullhorn bars, campagnolo GS hubs laced to Mavic Open Sport wheels. 103 tubing. $195.

Handlebars, all 40cm: 3ttt Competizione, Cinelli Campione Del Mundo (marked 66-42 but really measures about 40cm c-c). Average condition. $20 each.

Mavic 350 handlebar: 40cm, excellent condition. $40.

Chrome Colnago Super fork: late 70s I think. Very good condition, some light surface rust but looks pretty nice. $70.

Campagnolo C-Record era veloce headset: Near mint. $45.

Raleigh of England 1977 Model - $135 (Raleigh)

Reply to: sale-tgurc-2776050095@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I'm selling a 1977 (Tour De France model) Raleigh of England road Bike that is in good condition. Brakes and shifters/derailers are in good working condition. Bike has a steel frame and comes with a pump and frame mount (see the photos below). Only issue with the bike is that it is missing 3 spokes on the back tire (although it still rides smooth, still needs to be fixed.)

The price is not hard, also, more pics can be provided upon request.

Thats a 83 that came with the gold wheels. The dacals are chewed up.

Its going to take a complete rebuild, tires or wheels if you want clinchers, possibly a new guide brazed on if not the top tube (those were really thin) and a full paint to regain its former glory. I have an offer in but he hasn't excepted before I saw the picture of the top tube. I'm not offering a dime more then I already have. To me the value was the frame and with the paint and rust issue its not worth more then what I have offered. To be fair to him I wont disclose that offer.

I haven't actually put my hands on it but I'm of the belief that its really high miles and that it has drive train wear to match.

I have an offer in for the components less frame, fork, BB and crank. The crank is an odd ball that is VERY difficult to remove without damage to the BB shell (you drive two pins through the BB to secure it in a correct location). Maybe the seller will consider your offer or maybe a lower offer for just the frame along with mine for components?

The head tub is shot, all rusted out. This thing isn't worth anything but for the front forks and the components. That is, unless you replace the head tube.

I have one exactly like it and have been trying to determine if it is an Equipe or genuine Cinelli. If you look at Cinelli cataloges of the period, you will see that Cinelli offered a number of different style lug designs for various models they made. Lugs found in the Cinelli catalog are on this frame. But the lack of serial number and just the frame size stamped on the BB is how Equipe frames came to the US.

So, this particular frame is something of a mystery because features on this frame are quite different from Centurion Equipe frames that landed in the USA. Many knowledgeable about Centurion think these frames were made for the Centurion European market. Notice there is no braze on for FD, Lug points are much longer on this frame that US Equipe's, rear horizontal stay bridge is much different, top tube cable housing loops are double not single and fork cap lug is pure Cinelli, not like the one found on Equipe forks. Mysterious indeed.

What's with this guy anyway? For example, he's got a five-year-old crummy China-made re-pop $69.00 WalMart Grey Ghost Stingray for two grand... The prices on all the bikes in this list are outrageous. Odd situation.... Here's his current ebay sort by highest price first. https://www.ebay.com/sch/bbcbikes/m.h...&_sop=16&_sc=1

I was not aware of the BB modification to run that crank. That does add more issues scarring me away from it. Do you have a link to how that thing is installed and removed?

Yeah keep me in the loop. I'm not sure he is able to disassemble from our corespondence.

The SB derailleurs I was kind of interested in just to display but the rear can only swing a 22 tooth according to Velo Base and I typically like a 28 for the hills around here. So if I can get the frame for the right price that reflects its condition I'd be interested.

I may drop him a note later this week if his ad is still up. I'm between paychecks and Xmas has me a little thin till Friday.

Not sure if he's a collector or not, but his prices are so out of whack, he just relists them over and over again. Once in a while I suppose someone is desperate or ignorant and pays what he's asking... Crazy, eh?

Take a look at this link: https://www.classicrendezvous.com/USA/PowrCam_main.htm It has Powercam installation instructions and covers how to secure the BB once it is in proper location. They call for pounding two pins into position to lock BB location. It is very difficult to remove.

Let's both keep in touch. If you get the bike, I would be interested in everything less frame, fork, crankset and BB. If he separates parts from frame, I will let you know.

John

Crazy, yes. I looked over one of his Miyata Team bikes. It was outfitted with C Record Campy. Too bad because if it was Campy SR, he would have had something worth his asking price. Miyata Team SL is a very, very difficult bike to find in any condition. Don't get me wrong, Campy C Record equipment is pricey but a genuine SL is even more so.

Sweet Masi. The crank looks like a Campy Strada only in fixed gear config. They seem odd but were used on tandem's. You got a great deal onthat Masi. I don't usually see good deals on Masi but did manage the next best thing securing a Medici frameset.
