I know that is nice looking. I'll have to contact the seller and check the standover height. I might have to take a drive this weekend.

You should be able to get a much longer Stoker stem, maybe from a kit like they sell for kids.

You gotta be kidding me, it's not in one of your garages/house already? $350 sounds like a bargain, a lot of fun for the money.

The problem with tandems is they have to fit two people. I'd need about a 25/19... I'd be willing to help with this one in a crunch; I grew up (mostly; there's Montana and the UK in there too) in C'ville and know it well (enough to know how offensive it is to locals to call it C'Ville, anyhoo). It's about seventy miles from my house, and if I didn't have cash earmarked for another bike I might think about this one. The problem will, of course, be shipping this darn thing anywheres... cost-ineffective, I would think.

This bike would be in my garage if it were local. Then again it'd be sold a minute after being listed here in the Chicago area, even at this time of year.

If someone needs a huge size difference between captain/stoker then a Bike Friday Tuesday might be a good option. They are very customizable -even the used ones can be customized as to their size very well with help from the factory and a few new parts.

[h=2]Near Perfect 1988 Fuji Roubaix - $399[/h]

I am selling a 1988 Fuji Roubaix in the handsome Nero color scheme. This bike is in near perfect condition (a few small paint scratches) with all original components, except for the seat. The tires and tubes are newer and hold air. The drivetrain shifts smoothly and all rotational components move effortlessly. This bike is a gem and would be a great daily rider or something special for vintage club rides. Pictures from the original 1988 Fuji catalog can be provided.

Specs:

The frame measures 58cm (23'') from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube and has a top tube length of 56.6cm.
Frame: Feather Si45 quad butted Cromoly channeled tubing. The decals are beautifully painted on and the rear brake cable is channeled through the top tube.
Fork: A very unique Aero Unicrown with a Shimano 105 Headset.
Handlebar and Stem: Nitto alloy
Brakes: Shimano 105 SLR
Cranks: Shimano 105 42/52T Biopace with 105 BB
Derailleurs and Shifters: Shimano 105 SIS
Rims and Hubs: Ukai rims with Shimano 105 hubs and oval or "bladed" spokes.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or to request additional pictures.
Please no low-ball offers.

It kind of is a bargin, until you add shipping or a 4 hour one way trip in my case to pick it up. The money I go for the Grizzly would just about cover the bike. If the Mondiale would sell I would be tempted to try for the Santanna

1930's prewar shelby skiptooth bicyle - $200 (mt airy)

Nice old Shelby! Ladies frame all original except for saddle and I believe the grips. It is in need of restoration or ride it as is with a new set of tires, clean and lube. I can put new red balloon tires on, tune it up and add a new basket for 120 dollars extra. Great old bike in need of a new home. Thanks for looking

I think the price is quite reasonable given the quality...these are just great platforms for really nice bikes.

[h=2]1983 BASSO GAP FULL CAMPY (54cm) - $600 (Fishtown/No Libs)[/h]
Hey! I have this beautiful 54cm Basso Gap from 1983. It almost entirely stock Campagnolo Victory aside from the Campy Chorus headset and Tektro levers (the original levers did not operate all that well). It is amazing to ride, but I am trying to thin out the number of bikes in my apartment. I am willing to negotiate on the price. No trades. Text or call David at 720-561-0543 or email me about the listing. Thanks!

Yes, it does
They mumbled something about original cost over 3K (gold back then was not so hot). Not sure you can trade-in your car. And, yes they will consider offers. So sell your stocks (about time) and buy this bike.
