^ That looks like a repaint. Of a very nice frame. If I had to guess: a Gazelle Champion Mondial from the nineties.

See if you can find a serial number somewhere. Probably on the bottom of the BB shell.

I agree with non-fixie that it does look like a Champion Mondial, only that is not a Gazelle serial number.

Ah, yes. That is a Batavus Professional. The "4" on the left is the build year, in this case 1984. The "61" in the middle is the size, 61 centimeters, CT. On the right is the serial number.

The Batavus Professional was the direct competitor of the Gazelle Champion Mondial. It came in either Columbus or Reynolds tubing. My guess is yours is an '85 or '86 model. The '84 didn't have the FD braze-on, whereas the '87 had an almost fully chromed rear triangle.

I just checked: the chromed rear triangle and the cable routing through the TT were both optional, so the OP's bike could be later than '86 as well.

Hi Concordians,
I just picked up this beauty a couple weeks ago. I'm starting to collect some parts and will start rebuilding it shortly. Its obviously an Astore, however I can't decipher the SN to figure out the year. Any ideas??

Time to resurrect this thread.
A few days ago I bought a Concorde frame. It has been neglected for a long time. I think it can be saved. If not, it's fun as a fixie/urban (sorry [MENTION=173992]non-fixie[/MENTION]) bike. Picture below is from other frame but mine is a like. I will post pic as soon as I have enough light (it's kind of dark weather last days).
Sold as a Concorde Colombo a dealer sticker is sticked on the TT just after "Concorde" so I can't be sure at this time. I will clean the frame asap and will remove dealer stickers too. I will update.
Fork crown doesn't have the "C" in it. Just like the one in the picture. Is that typical with budget Concorde frames?
The chain stays on my frame are both chromed in contrast with only drive side in the picture.

A bottom bracket question for Concorde owners:
I recently bought an old rather rough Concorde. Not sure of the year or model, possibly a 93 or 94 Prelude or Astore. Can anyone suggest what the bottom threading might be?
More details:
The frame is Columbus SL. There's no model name on the top tube, suggesting it was made for a racing team. The frame colors are black and silvery green/blue, similar to the Collstrop team bikes, but not quite. It is made very similar to the Concordes which many people say were made by Ciocc, but there's no little Italian flag on the top tube. The bottom bracket lug appears to measure 70 mm across, so I'm guessing its Italian threaded.
The bike is pretty beaten up. It was made into a single speed a while back and most of the original parts are gone. The only parts that appear original are the Campy Chorus head set and the Shimano Dura Ace brake calipers, 7403 I think. It currently has a modern Ultegra crank and bottom bracket, but its too beaten up to read any markings on it. Sorry, no pictures available yet.

Colourscheme sure looks '93 to me. Does it have TSX tubing. '93 Brochure advertises Aquila with this tube set..

Here are pics of mine, newly acquired. The guy I got it from had it for the last five years. He built it into a single speed and used it for commuting. Most of the original parts have been removed. He told me most of the parts were Dura Ace. I'm going to clean it up, do a little spot touch up, and build it back up.
I'm not sure of the model (no indication on the bike) or the year, but I'm guessing '91 or '92. I assume it's Italian made, but the front and rear dropouts are Ultech. Anyone recognize the bottom bracket lug make, or any other details that tell the story?
