I'm building an art deco bike using mixed parts, from a variety of mfgs. across the decades, and I think the delta brakes come quite close to what an art deco (streamlining era of late 30s) brake set ought to look. I don't think the folks here care whether they work well or not.
I'm certain I'm in a small, small group who think they're rather hideous. Just from a stand point of aesthetics, I'd take a set of AX brakes over them any day of the week.
