doesn't seem right.
It has a Benotto crank but did any of the lo-end bikes have cable stops like that?
Just curious if it is really a Benotto
It Is Aluminum And Very Lightweight.

Looks like a Benotto to me. They made plenty of low-mid level bikes.

same guy posted again same price - a while back he was using "CALL TERESA (210) 921.2002 ANYTIME, DAY OR NIGHT" responses to his posts got rowdy & he got flamed and started posting & pulling & re posting the same couple of overpriced bikes several times a day. The pix show the same kitchen.
Anyway I was wondering if any Benotto frames had cable stops like these:

that febay Benotto with that twisted tubing does look sweet

Remember that benotto was in mexico at some point and for sure they not always produced 100% racing machines. There is a big chance that it might be a super low end mexican neighborhood store benotto, but since benotto's catalogs are pretty "easy" to find, who knows, it might be

I know some Benotto bicycles are of Mexican origin and I think that I have owned three of them. All three had frame sets that were either embossed or panto-graphed with the Benotto name.
That one feature pointed out, the cable guide/stop, suggests an older frame set than I am familiar with.

It has braze-ons for the rear brake cable and the shifters, and - perhaps most teelingly - two sets of bosses. I don't think it's particularly old. It looks to me like a lower-level Mexican Benotto. I had a mid-level one from the late 70's-early 80's with clips for the rear brake cable and clamp-on shifters. This one's surely later.

Randy i dont doubt that you know about benotto but who knows how many models they did in the factory, maybe sombody licence the brand and manufactured super low end chinese bikes under benotto name. That part only the factory knows it.
1st time i see that model, and who knows
With colnago or pinarello everybody knows what they are manufacturing because catalogs are super clear but with benotto who knows. Doubt all mexicans were buying the high end stuff you know, the same here in the US with some american brands, hign end stuff and low end sunday market bikes that who knows from came from.

Frankly, I think this is something that someone has pieced together and slapped some Benotto stickers and components on. It wouldn't even surprise me if this was a repaint with added fittings.
The Shimano New 600EX SIS firmly dates it 1986-1987, but I've seen lots of entry level, hi-tensile, Benotto 800 from this period. None have had dual bottle bosses. All used cable tunnels for the rear brakes and routed the derailleur cables under the BB shell. Dual bottle bosses with brazed-on shifters seem contradictory to the cheap cable stops that use cable housing for routing the cables over the BB shell.
The front derailleur appears to be Z-series, a couple of steps down rom New 600EX, so the the rear derailleurs and shifters are almost certainly an SIS upgrade.
Even the decals look wrong. Both the down and seat tube decals are placed too far up the tubes. The down tube decal is missing both of it's flanking stripes and they appear to have been used to encircle the stays. The seat tube decal is missing it's top flanking stripe and Benetto emblem. It appears this was trimmed and used for the head tube decal, as this is not the proper head tube decal.
Whatever it actually is, it appears to be an entry level hi-tensile frame. FWIW, an 1986 Benotto 800 (hi tensile frame, SunTour Vx, Benotto labeled SR crankset, Modolo Corsa brakes and Miche hubs laced to Ambrosio Elite 700C rims) orignally sold for $265 US.
