Thank you Jim. Pictured are The dunes that seperate my fair city from the north sea, between the hague and Leiden. Would you believe this is just a few hundred meters away from one of the densest agglomerations in the western world?

I have a harder time believing that Holland actually has hills that high! :D

Just some small lips to keep the water out:) the climbs are short and shallow, nothing more than 500 m at an easy grade, cutting the easy edge of the dune. There are some longer and worse climbs in Limburg, the southernmost province, but people talk weird there so nobody considers them especially dutch :p

Gorgeous Italuminium. I like austere landscapes.

Big fun and over $1,500.00 raised to fight diabetes. The top pedaling team did 110.76 miles in 4 hours.

I took a 12 mile run yesterday, and I stopped to admire a 100 year old marble survey marker (I'm a surveyor :) )

That's really neat. How did you know to find it there?

I kinda just find them since I know what they look like! Here's another just down the road. This example was probably set by the same surveyor back in 1905. TD (Tracy Dows) was an important landowner (lots of $$) at the turn of the century:

Scrap metal

That scrap metal pile is the equivalent of a bike shop here in Cambodia.

YoKev, some day, I'd like you to take me around my new neighborhood. ;) We haven't managed to make it up there in a while.

Very nice! I remember this road and view from my childhood. My uncle drove me threw there, he lives on Shokan. :)
