Well, I do have some good friends but none of us are great cooks. My wife and I are terrible cooks... like just moved out, 18 year old bad. She is pregnant and I have no idea what this poor kid is going to eat. A nice steady diet of burned food, ramen noodles and peanut butter. I'd start practicing, but the more I do the worse I get. I am not joking, I used to make really good pancakes and for some reason I lost that ability completely. I'm chef Benjamin Button.

A mid afternoon ride to the gas station for vitamin waters

The spoke card is from an alley cat race I just did. Am I still a hipster to leave it there if I won the race?

Is that an actual fake dino in the water or is it a photo chop?
Either way it's cool!

It's an actual fake dino. It travels from lake to lake all summer. No idea who does it, but it is kind of fun.

Good looking food, Justin.

A couple from the Doors Open Milwaukee Sunday: the Grain Exchange and City Hall.

Alright, so it's been a couple weeks since I took these photos... better late than never right? I was making a run to buy some things for other forum members and had to get creative on how to get stuff home.

I long for the days when there were no helmets. Gone foreverhttp://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...lies/frown.gif. I can't bring myself to ride around the corner without it.

Congrats on the win! You won the "geared bike" category right? In the all the alleycats I have ever been a part of, the first person to finish on a fixed gear bike is considered the "real" winner (well, they get the best prizes, anyway) even if someone on a geared bike or singlespeed finishes first. And to answer your question...yes :P

Relaxing with a bourbon and wheel build.

I had a mishap and briefly blamed the bourbon. Nope. I was trying to lace a 32h hub to a 36h rim. I checked the receipt AND the packaging and they sent the wrong one. Hooray! I'm not all the way crazy.

Here's a pic from the other day. It was shortly before 5am, I was getting ready for a long ride and I needed to occupy my time while the coffee was brewing, so I played around with low-light exposure settings. The colors came out all wrong but applying a sepia filter hid all of that.

Very cool, Anton. I like the tall baseboard.

Wood aplenty in this house... but much of it in need of refinishing!

Family ride this afternoon. Stella did a good job pulling the kiddo.

They only had one category. Fixed gears aren't as popular around here because the city is very hilly, the messengers and delivery people mostly use geared bikes.

Hey, I have that same Burley trailer! A neighbor gave it to me, knowing I'd convert it into a utility trailer. I removed the deteriorated/ripping fabric and now I need to make a deck for it. It's a light trailer!

Well then double congrats :)

Wow, a lot of good every day pics.

@leftthread - love the architecture shots
@colonel - living high on the hog :thumb: -- what was in the ramekin? Crème brûlée, perhaps?
@southpaw - love the woodwork as well; reminds me of an apartment house I lived in during college.
