I like this image. If you scroll so the picture is cut off where the mural begins, it really makes the bike feel like part of the backdrop.

Very nice! I did a double-take, my first thought was that it was a real scene photographed with the bike and processed through a photoshop filter.

^ Being a urbanite, my first instinct is to throw salt on all that white stuff! Great photo, how about some details about your 4 day adventure?

I've passed this truck parked by the side of the road dozens of times. Finally snapped a picture. Dinosaur Towing Inc.

1928 Mercedes!

I was riding home from the store on my bike today and came across this. It was parked in the middle of the street behind the truck; I stopped and spoke with the owner, touched the car, and admired it for a few minutes. He was very nice and told me this is the only one of it's kind in the world. He said it's worth $3.5 million. I said that it must have been in a few movies (we're in Hollywood) and he said only one, called "1933." As I rode home I decided to grab my camera, hurry back and have him take a photo of the car with me and my bike, but when I returned, it was on the lift and being loaded. I hurried and shot a couple photos as quick as I could to share.

An idyllic scene, until you start thinking about what it takes to become, and remain so. Especially these days.

At the halfway point of last night's ride, I stopped in at a new brew pub. I ran into a friend who had also ridden his bike. He had a problem with his shifter; I helped him fix it. That's me on the left.
