deciding what to ride and letting my friend pick one as well:

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-D...5823311633.JPG

he picked the bianchi and didnt stop talking about it for the rest of the day (having never ridden any type of modern drivetrain before).

so i took the 650b portage because I had a feeling I'd need the storage space to store layers as the weather warmed up. i was right.

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Y...CA217F8BA5.JPG

turned out I was right as by the time I got home I had stripped off two jackets and a pair of pants.

oops, time for a pee and to fix a flat. Left to right that's my friend Ryan, Fender1 fixing his flat, and his brother nikkorod.

That's it. Who has time to take pics anyway?

It's the ankle tattoos.

This doesn't pertain to old bikes, but i thought it was pretty damn cool to watch. I went with my daughter to a unicycling clinic the other day. The Panther Pride Unicycle Team has put on a couple of clinics for the kids at our school. This is one of the Team members. He can do some real amazing stuff on a one wheeler.

I finally got around to installing the kid stoker cranks on the two-seater. They work pretty good for for the small kids, except He's always futzing with his damn toe straps now(while we are riding). Here he is losing control on the slide.

^Brrrrr!

Spotted some C&V rides while I was visiting ASU Tempe campus. Among the masses of cruisers, mtbs, hybrids and fixies, there were these that caught my C&V eye.
I really like the Miyata mixte.

This afternoon... my Worksman trike and if you look closely there is something vintage hiding in the box. was loaning my trike to a local theatre company for a production and needed a ride home.

I saw this guy down in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala while on a solo bike tour down there. I never saw a bike locked up down there.

Decided to part with one of my Schwinns. The Continental is now on Craigslist waiting for the right person to find it.

*Yes, that comforter is actually in my dorm. I'm that awesome.

AH. I've wondered what your avatar pic was from. Very nice photo. Tattooed poultry? Gotta try me some.

I'm not sure what an "everyday" picture is. We don't do this every day. Be we did today. Behind us is the Atlantic Ocean. We're across the road from the Chatham lighthouse.

Converted the single speed, coaster brake LTD into a 5-speed with a front brake the other night, and just took it for a test ride. Very smooth ride, very little braking.

And took a couple of pics.

Along the Perkiomen Creek yesterday. All the leaves should be gone by next weekend, the last few are still hanging on.
