thanks seeds, but a friend of mine took the pic on our recent trip to gooseberry mesa. I found it unique and wanted to share.

Wasn't my doing, and I don't know much about it, yet. Someone experimented with it, and said it works, but that's about it. I don't know what cage is on it, even after a little thumbing through the Velobase pages. I'll let you know how well it works, when I get around to putting it on something.

So, it winds up being a long reach dura-ace?

Curious because I'm still learning.

Just finished my Lemond Zurich project. Got the frame and fork on eBay back in September and didn't get a chance to play with it until last week. I always have a thing for red bikes.:thumb: Can't wait for the 50 miles shakedown ride tomorrow.

Now THAT's utilitarian. I just bought the same U.S.-made Wald front basket from a LBS new for $20. Not particularly elegant, but it holds stuff the same as a $160 asian-made VO "porteur" rack. I can buy another vintage bike for the price difference. ;) No offense, the VO stuff looks nice. If ya got the dough, knock yerself out.
