my son and I rented a car and drove over to a beach about an hour from home to do some exploring. At the beach there is a fresh water river emptying into the ocean. On this day there were also hand gliders above us doing their thing. They were landing on the beach in front of us.

someone built a lean to out of driftwood on the beach. Some of the driftwood was impressive as it came from Redwoods.

it was a little chilly there, but the water wasnt too bad when we walked through it to get to the other side.

i almost forgot, I also taught my 3.5 year old to ride without his training wheels this weekend. He did awesome!
