MKS Lambda Pedal strap

I really like the lambda pedal but would prefer to have a strap as well. On a look through google images I came across this picture of a strap for the lambda pedal. Unfortunately I have had no success finding any information about this awesome strap. Anyone know anything about this or know of anything like it.

I didn't know where to post this so I chose classic vintage because it will go on my classic vintage bike.

Thanks,
Erik

My LBS owner's favorite pedals are the Lambdas. He uses Hold Fast straps with them, I think.

I'm glad you posted this. Been wondering the same thing. Lambdas are on the list for Mother's Day.

My wife's Linus Mixte has the Lambda pedals. They are a very nice pedal. If you want a pedal with a huge platform that won't create hotspots on your foot, this is the pedal to get.

Does she use foot retention?

No, she does not. Since she is a new rider, she worries that she will not get her foot out of a clip quick enough when in a panic situation. The MKS is a really grippy pedal and I am of the opinion that you really don't need retention with it. Of course, if you want to use your leg to lift the pedal on the upstroke that's another story.

The new sealed bearing pedals from VO are pretty awesome. Super grippy, can be used with clips/straps and are ridiculously lightweight.

+1. I have a set of the VO touring pedals w/ half clips and the Lamda pedals. I think the VO w/ half clip is a better solution as you have some retention.

I wonder if the halfclip will work on the Lambda if the reflector is removed. My guess is that it will work just fine.

No. Look closely to how they're assembled and you'll see that's not the case. I considered removing the front, half-moon shaped grip area, installing a piece of aluminum bar stock and mounting half clips to them, but then VO came out with those city and touring pedals so I didn't bother. MKS pedals are friggin' heavy; especially the touring pedals.

it's excellent. you have to use a the "newer" version of the power grip though. the older ones have a wider attachment that won't fit. i'll take a pic in a minute.

Have a picture, just show it to someone who will take the time
to cut out a piece of leather and add a couple rivets and a buckle.
Pay them for their time and materials.

Pay somebody, in C&V??? Pffft! I made toe straps from an old kitty litter box. They look terrible and don't work well but I didn't pay anyone!
