Perhaps it's just me, but I think all these tall people need to learn how to adjust their seatpost height, they're all too low. That old advice about "leg slightly bent with pedal at bottom" is I think dated, I think that contributes to more stress on the knee on the power stroke. I've done a lot better with a raised seat, raising it until I need to reach for the pedal at the ankle or rock my hips on the saddle, both bad, then lowering until that doesn't happen.

My buddies used to razz me about it - so in turn, when I started to drive - Kathy was stapled in my back seat and went everywhere with me for years. Going to school and Kathy was there, work - dates - family functions - Kathy was along for the ride. Maybe I should have sought out professional mental help back then. |
