Bikes: they change so much I'm tired of updating this

Yep shoes on backwards thanks , I didn't notice they were replaceable shoes. I ran tubular wheels on my triathlon bike and hated them,
I will stick with clinchers, sorry. And I'm keeping my clip less pedals. I will switch the brake pads around though. My ignorance of vintage Italian race bikes I assumed cinellis were
The right choice

Well I actually built this to ride every now and then, not expecting the ride quality. I believe this thing rides better than my litespeed. Looks like the litespeed will be a every now and then ride. Went for a ride today and after about 6miles I turned around and grabbed the colnago and rode 20 miles, I love this thing.

Unexpected fun, isn't it.

I had two bicycles to choose from at our friend's cabin this morning, an older Seven and a much newer Trek Madone.

I chose the Seven and didn't do horribly for an old guy.

Really, it comes down to going out and having some fun, doesn't it?

I would've picked the seven also, I use to be a trek only guy and madone was it for me until I rode a few other brands.
