Aaron, I am soooo sorry this happened to you. I am also sorry I missed this thread yesterday. Just know that my prayers and get-well vibes will be headed your way.

If any good comes of this, it is to remind those of us who get a little too comfortable riding in traffic that this can happen to anyone. I know I am guilty of this. My wife reminds me that she is not worried about what *I* do on the road, but what some careless driver does.

I won't bother repeating what has been said already about lawyers and listening to your docs. It sounds like you are handling it well. Just keep your spirits up and GET WELL!!!

I'm sure why: check out the great people on this here board! All the well wishes and great advice - warming the cockles, I say.

I second everyone's best wishes for your recovery and commend you on your magnanimity towards the offending driver. Also getting your wife a kitchen is a great idea, especially if she cooks.

I hope you're not incapacitated too long... inability to exercise is the sucky-est part of healing... anyway, healing thoughts toward you.

You too, gomango!
Thanks for the kind words from some of you guys as well.

But to be honest, I don't have a fractured bone in my leg and the doc said I can ride when I can breathe deeply on the bike again.

This will be in another week or so, not the long time Aaron will be laid up.

Aaron, I'd go for the nice kitchen.

You could sink your teeth into a project like that to keep your mind off the rest of this nonsense.

Rub some dirt on it, you'll be fine.

Pain is just weakness leaving your body.

About the bike... it'll buff out.

Best wishes and hope you're feeling better soon!

How're you feeling now, my man? Are you going to have surgery? Are you getting around?

Hello Aron, sorry I am late to the post but I have had lots of difficulty with computers and this site lately.

I am glad to hear your OK and your injuries are not more serious, hopefully you'll have a full recovery. I wish I was still in So Jersey I'd pop over and lend a hand too.

BTW all you Philly area C&V guys will have an easier time making big CL scores for a few weeks!!

Don't sweat the interview. Go in there clean, polished, on crutches and smiling. You'll get points for the novelty and for toughing it out.

Ok - status report: the comcast interview was postponed to next week, unrelated. Another company is interested now and I think I like the new opportunity more for a variety of reasons. Things look good.

Still waiting for the police report. The insurance company woman are now claiming I was stopped in the wrong lane. That will be interesting for them to stand by. I'm now going for blood.

Ups and downs...I've passed on buying some great stuff because I need money for out of pocket medical expenses, which SUCKS!

Your well wishes mean a lot!

Aaron, she's got to be kidding. You were stopped in the oncoming lane? Get real! Is there a police report? (Please say yes.)

HOW ARE YOU FEELING PHYSICALLY?!

Never mind the bike trading stuff. You'll get back on that horse when the time is right.

Good luck with the job opportunities. What a good time for you in that realm! And how odd that they should come at the same time as the injury. But you'll get through that, too.

Thanks Tom...my stock seems to be doing ok.

The report hasn't been issued yet, obviously I'm worried about how it's written. We didn't take photos of her car placement (it was a dramatic time). I think it'll be ok, but I HATE relying on others.

I'm sore...the leg hurts and doesn't like being immobile. It's not too too bad.
