I'm concerned my kitty could be a White Supremacist.

Bikes: Schwinns, lots of them. Some Paramounts

Hoping this will be shop-cat number six (30 years and only five cats in my business, we take very good care of them)
After Scruffy's sad passing two months ago at ten years of age due to complications of FIV, I have been without a shop cat for the first time since 1987. Two weeks ago I captured this little street kitty that was hanging out in our garden and back yard. (Lured him in with a bird-feather cat toy on a string, then grabbed him.)
He has been to the vet and treated and vaccinated and neutered. He is about four months old.
In the two weeks since I caught him he is coming along nicely. He is staying in the cattery at home for a few more months to get him thoroughly socialized before moving him to the business.
Yesterday was his first day out of the kennel to interact with the other cats that are free-roaming in the cattery. Everything went very well. We trimmed his claws yesterday and he gave no resistance.
Photo from today, his name is "Mickey"

Bikes: Too many Bicycles to list

On Oct 8th we lost our 13yr old tabby Stripe to a heart attack with no warning. He was the best cat I have ever owned, he was more like a dog then a cat, even my vet and staff fell in love with him & were all crying when they couldn't revive him as they have never saw a cat so laid back that he didn't have a care in the world. We used to bring him in once a month with a harness & leash ( no cat carrier needed ) to get his sugar checked as we found out 9 months ago he was diabetic. I would take him for a walk around this big field next to the vets office when we were done. These are a couple of pictures that I really like of him. Here he is with my cat lil Kris who I lost 4yrs ago, she just loved him.The bottom photos are of him the first night that I found him while fishing under a bridge for stripper, he was starving when I had my wife come and get him, as soon as he was done eating he jumped down and went right to the cat toy box and began playing. When I got home from fishing I showered and sat in my chair and he hopped right up like he's lived there for years lol, that was Stripe!!!

Thanks DD, he was my buddy, whatever I was doing he wanted to help me do it lol. Used to steal a lot of stuff from my Desk/Bench especially if it was made of metal, he was like Jaws when it came to metal lol

Izzy doesn't get to be on the kitchen counter but she was seeking refuge from a visiting pitbull, a breed that really causes them total panic unlike most other dogs are not a problem. I have issues with the dogs owner not having any business having a dog.

My fiancee and I have two:

Frankie is 7, and was my fiancee's cat for a few years before we met. Frankie was historically very standoffish, and was very selective in who she would hang out with. Luckily for me, she decided that she liked me a lot, Frankie crawled into my lap the first time I met her.

Frankie was always very reserved and shy; one reason being that we found out 6 months ago that she was in fact quite sick. Having never been spayed, Frankie developed an extremely infected uterus, and was, in hindsight we came close to losing her. At 7 years old, she weighed 7 pounds. After surgery, she was 6 pounds and incredibly weak.

Months later, she is around 12 pounds, and extremely happy and healthy.

Our other cat, Sippy, is about 15 months old. On our first date, my now fiancee and I were walking back to our cars when this little wiry kitten came trotting towards us from underneath a bridge, meowing her little heart out. We stopped and pet her, and then continued our walk. This little kitten followed us, almost always underfoot and meowing, for 2 miles. My fiancee took her home with the intention of taking her to a shelter the next morning, but the little one was just too persistent and ended up staying.

Sippy is a crazy little kitten. She likes to play a lot, and uses her teeth and claws without discretion. When she is in a calmer mood, though, she is the sweetest little kitten you will ever meet.

My two had died of old age, and our remaining small cat went to live with my aged father when we took in my late father-in-law's Bichon Frise. Then a couple of months ago my mother had a major stroke, and we took in her cats. Everyone has been adjusting to everyone else with surprisingly little fuss. There are the occasional mild disputes -

- such as when Rocky the Bichon believes Titus the cat has taken his proper place in my lap. Or the times when Titus decides my daughter's American Girl doll bed is the best place to catch a nap, then flees the photographer -

The only real challenge was working out things with Titus' sister Tabitha, who has a shy and retiring nature. She spent the first two months or so routinely hissing at Rocky, who was pathetically eager to play with her. Recently, though, she has started working out detente with the dog.

Titus loves EVERYONE and is pretty much a Labrador Retriever in a cat's body. He is especially enamored of my 8-year-old daughter, insisting on sprawling on the kitchen table while she does homework and sleeping full length beside her at night. She has progressed from genuinely not liking him to adoring him, which is not surprising. People love him. Tabitha prefers adults, at least so far, and she tends to emerge from her place under the dining room chair skirts about 8:30 at night to insist on rubbings and nuzzlings. They, and the dog for that matter, are all delightful.

so sorry for your loss. i'm crying now because my baby is at least 12 and i know i take him for granted. i don't know it makes you feel any better but i'm gonna love my cat 20x extra next time i see him, because of your post. lately some personal stuff has gotten bad enough that i haven't been able to appreciate him as much and be nice to him when he whines. i haven't seen him in a few days cause i've been avoiding my intolerable roommates. i don't think it will be possible for me to feel good about myself once he's gone.
