Somebody stop this guy!

This drilldo just made me cry harder than discovering the hooker was infected. And, no, us cannabis afficionados wish not to be associated with this 'artiste'. I could do a better job blazed beyond effective motor control with dull bits, a blindfold and an old hand-crank drill. The scariest part, second to his having customers, is his pride in the 'workmanship'. 'I created a masterpiece.' Sure you did. A master piece of caca.

Obviously, I 'm not enjoying his drillium skills but his description and replies are priceless! I just sent this to him in hopes of pulling more madness out of him.
Hey- Are you cross-eyed? If not, you should really stop ruining nice older components... what's the point in doing a lousy job? Drillium is about precision, even spacing, and straight lines... if you're going to practice and destroy parts, maybe try out your skills (or lack of) on some cheap beater cranks before you hideously mangle anymore Campy stuff!!! Hack job at best... lame!
Should he reply but not post on the auction, I'll be sure to share his drivel, so we can enjoy together.

Success!
I took my daughter to soccer practice and I returned to find little bit of brilliance...
i am in San Francisco when you reduce the messenger cracks it makes a lot of difference because we have lots of different change of grade. I don't know where you live if you live in flat ground that it doesn't matter you can just head home if you ride your bike you can just Petteway the momentum will pull you but in Simcisko you're fighting gravity.. If you live in Texas it doesn't need to be drilled out anyway you can just use it like that. But also do not forget that bicycle parts are to be used and use the not treated like jewelry that should be hung around her neck. I have never seen a person hang a crank arm around her neck. Maybe you might be the first. And started Look at my other auctions I have rear derailleurs also for sale that has been Meldaway and drilled out. Do you ride your bicycle at all? If you don't then it really doesn't matter whether it is drilled out or not

Some of my personal favorites:
"reduce the messenger cracks" (bike messengers telling jokes and making wise guy comments?)
"you can just Petteway the momentum will pull you" (Petteway? Doesn't momentum push?)
"but in Simcisko you're fighting gravity" (Simcisko? Fighting gravity? Trying to stay on his feet when drunk?)
"I have never seen a person hang a crank arm around her neck." (What? Great visual!)
"derailleurs also for sale that has been Meldaway and drilled out" (Meldaway? Again, what?)
I find it troubling that he did not devote a single word in his reply to arguing that points made about ruining components. I hope this idiot doesn't own a car, he seems totally cabbaged, I fear for all cyclists in the Bay area if this moron is operating a car like his handles a drill… scary!!!

I finally got tired of reading all his guff about this stuff being done in the interests of "weight savings for faster riding" and dropped him a line:
Hello,
Look, I'm not bashing you here, but there does seem to be a bit of delusion where your ideas behind the drilling are concerned.
You state you didn't drill this in a pretty, concise way because the drilling was to shave weight and allow the bike it is attached to to be ridden hard and fast. There's only one problem with that theory: if someone tries to ride this hard and fast, it's going to break apart. If someone tries to climb a steep hill, the torque is going to break it apart. Your drilling has taken too much material away than is safe. I ought to know: I've done tons of drillium myself.
Here's the thing, whether you want to accept it or not: drillium is a concept that is just as much about presentation and accuracy as it is about weight-savings - probably more so. So, if you aren't making your holes accurate and pleasing to the eye, and you're drilling too much material away so that the part can't actually be used, well...what's the point?
Jeff
I really can't think of why anyone would bid on this - it's obvious this will fail with any halfway-serious use, and it certainly can't be for the challenged aesthetics. But there's another bid today; maybe a shill to drum up some interest?
I'm tracking this auction just to see what the hell happens in the end (and man, am I looking forward to the feedback!)

Jeff, nobody can explain drillium as nice as you do, with pics to match, but I'm afraid this guy is a lost cause. What a mess. I wonder how these people even function IRL and perform basic actions like holding on to a job to pay for these antics or paying store clerks to get a drill without getting kicked out of the store for wearing a Feminazi suit

Ha ha - I did.
I think I also pointed out the cracks, too. I attached a link to my Flickr drillium set as well, just so he'd know I wasn't full of doo-doo. My duty is done

I should go back to My Ebay and see if I've gotten another, more-enlightened answer, huh? Nah...

Bikes: i don't have a bike. a few frames, forks and some parts. that's all
there's a bid on it, again (the earlier one had been retracted. guess the bidder had read this thread? ha)
should we stop this guy from doing this, or just prevent bidders/buyers going forward?
every time i see that uglily messed up must-be-once-beautiful poor crank set, it hurts my eyes and heart.
Bikedued, let me know when you do it. i'd totally give my hands with no hesitation.
