100 miles

Just finished this week out commuting four days @ 28 miles round trip. 112 miles + a couple errand runs.

This is my first time breaking 100 miles in a single week commuting.

It started in June with my first 14 mile commute into work which left me exhausted for a few days afterward.

Now I am almost completely car free.

Great job I am looking at increasing my commute to 4 days a week also starting next week. My commute is 12 miles each way with rolling hills. Although there might be an actual hill or two in there that are not considered rolling but I am not sure how much climbing I have to do before other cyclists feel it is a hill or not.

Congratulations! A huge accomplishment!

(and you get to keep slaying those potatos with those kind of miles )

I just upped the mileage on my commute today from 21 miles RT to 32 miles. Still only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but hopefully soon I can up the number of days. I may end up working evenings this semester, so, for a while at least, I may end up only riding four days a week at most, but still, that's better.

Keep up the great work.

If you are struggling with it, it is a hill. I remember I used to have trouble with slight inclines that were 50 feet long. I had to shift gears and everything. Now they don't even slow me down.

It's all about keeping at it.

Now just wait until a coworker leaves you a pumpkin to take home. Then you're truly car-free!

Personally, I commute everyday, but I live in the city and my destination is 4 miles away. And it's a hill if it makes you glad to have that small gear on your triple (or wish you had a triple).

Well I do not have a triple and here is the ride profile so you can look for yourself. Most are rolling hills with a possible hill or two.
